Hi Anant

Just a humble request.

If you could modify the existing AFL designed by you (and rename it to something else) to also incorporate shorting trades then would be highly obliged.

I am posing this request from 3 angles:-

Firstly, trying to use your AFL's mechanically for long and short trades intraday - 5 minute interval trading.

Secondly, to use the AFL's mechanically for futures also - as we can go long as well as short in futures on delivery basis if not on cash scripts for the moment.

& Lastly,

Thirdly, it will help us to enter into a trade the next day a buy trigger is received at reasonably lower prices based on the intraday charts with the help of your modified AFL.

It would definitely prove to be an investment of your time as markets 1/3rd of the time may be either in bull or bear phase and the balance time in trading zones.

A full time trader needs to take benefit of both the bull and bear phase of the markets and thus the request.

As promised earlier i have begun reading through the mother thread too which was started by SG.

It's going to be an huge exercise but dont want to miss any gems on that thread either.:(

Just one observation as of now - Was a bit inquisitive regarding your below posts - you did post the triggers for a couple of days and then completely stopped.

Just wondering about it - Is the AFL ready or has this trading strategy/concept completely been abondoned?

And once again - if you could incorporate the sell side of the trades too in that AFL of yours it would be "Sone Peh Suhaga" for us all.:sos:

Hi Anant

Would sincerely appreciate if you could share some insights based on your practical experiences with the present system that we are following (Modified Wilders MA).

1. Do you by any chance have an excel file updated for all trades thrown out by this system and what has been the net outcome of the same till date.

2. You personal observations regarding the applicability of this system in non trending markets - how has it fared.

3. Any tips on how to detect a false buy signal and how to avoid the same in anticipation of a whipsaw?

I do understand that no one can predict the markets but trying to understand how we can avoid certain buy signals which fails in a span of a few days/week from the the day the same is entered into?
