You couldn't find any thread to ask about MICR....

MICR is a 9 digit numeric code printed on the cheque and is printed after the cheque number

first 3 didgit signifies the city where the bank is situated
next 3 digit signifies the Bank Code... (Which Bank)
last 3 digit is the branch code....

Hello savant and veluri sir as am new to trading i have few queries please guide me..

right now am not interested to start of trading with real money..can u p[lease help to do paper trading..how is this to be done..

and why is it trading on two exchanges in india nse and bse..what makes the difference and what are theirs uses..which is the best one..

BSE is Bombay stock exchange. oldest stock exchange in Asia.
NSE is Nation stock exchange. Much bigger version of stock exchange which started in 1992.

You can do paper trading on Moneycontrol.com create a profile and keep addig stock which u r supposed to buy or sell. Or u can simply note down the price and volume on a notebook.
