Nifty closed flat at 5992 that which somewhat gives us an early guessing!!:)

6015 is pivot level as of now and any move beyond it will give next moves.. probably an upward bias..Though it slipped from higher levels but its in the Zone of Consolidation, at least it looks like to me. ( 6015 to 6070)

Hence 6015 is next trend decider and sustaining beyond will give next moves indications.. i mean.. will it kick off to beat all time high..before taking SG bro prediction of hitting downfall somewhere in December 19th..

Hi SG,

How do these bid-ask values work? Today, TVS Motors was trading at Rs. 80....bid-ask values were going down by 5 paise. At 79.90, I saw 4-5 bid quantities of 10000+ whereas the the ask quantities were 100+. However, the price continued to move down. I'm confused....if there was demand for shares at the 79.90 level, why did the price move down?
Swati

One thing i wanna say... u saw buy order with huge quantity and then u saw price moving down which means that huge quantity was gulped easily .. this means supply of shares was very aggressive... so how can u see it as a bullish sign..

Thanks

May I have a link to read Swing Trading strategy adopted by Gangadharan ? Just curious to read. :)
Gangadharan bro has a very simple strategy.

Yes Jagan,

That is a part of my rule.............. The rule is to hedge the investments with a maximum 5% of the total value of a particular investment.

Take care,
Gangadhran:thumb:
Sirjeee,

The Idea of 5% on hedging is that, on an Investment where you are aiming 30% or more what is wrong on taking an insurance on the investment. by hedging your investment spending an amount of not more than 5% of the amount of your investment.

With regards,
Gangadharan.

Here are some of his trades I witnessed.

Sirjeeeee!!!!!!!!

Balarampur minus near 6 percent... but my put option... is plus 170 percent...

Gangadharan:)
Raunak Sir,

I came out of two balrampur puts at average rate of 4.90 and holding only one put and 4000 equities..

Now I don't care where the price goes. because the deal is still hedged with out any hedging cost.

Played an Intraday in SBI sell-3180..Buy--3090.

Nice day it was,,,

With Regards.
Gangadharan

With regards,
Gangadharan
Next day, his trades went bad. Put options saved the day...

Exited from all Tata steel puts at 23.50, TCS put at 68 ........ balramchini put at 5.25

Holding, equties. TCS.......SBI.........Balchini......Tatasteel and Chambalfert..

Champalfert put holding.

With regards,
Gangadharan.
Gangadharan bro had outlined his trading strategy and technical indicators he uses in an excel file. From that file, here is an interesting investing psycology.

MY RULE FOR INVESTMENTS
1. Invest in a place where you find huge return
2. Fix the target where you start booking profit and in the first booking of profit you will come out with your investment capital and a yearly 15% compound interest on that.
3. Find out the hedging possibilities before you invest and this will help you to perform like a high sky diver instead of a one who tries to catch a falling knife.

4. Never sell your investments in a loss.
5. try to earn money (even if it is a small one) by trading with your investments. It is easy in a bear market and when your invested script shows more to bearish signs
6. Even though you have hedged your investments with a 5% try to catch at least 50% of the hedging fund before the expiry.
7. Try to buy puts on or above the strike rate you bought the shares for hedging.
8. Try buying more than one lot of puts and the total cost of that will be not more than the 5% of invested amount.
9. Feel thinking that it was a successful trade you have executed while booking profit on hedges.
10. Come out of your hedges by the end of 3rd week of the month.

Please somebody lend me a demolition Hammer....

Actually....... Rajput definitely you will see one more Hanging Man tomorrow...4 in a row...:)

Mr SG - Why is tht stocks whose prices are high like 1000 or so have spread that is wide while smaller ones have narrow spread (say a 50 rs stk) ?

Also, why do high price stocks like RIL, SBI move more than lower priced ones?

Me so confused

Best,

B.G Maxine
