Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On

Hello Savant Sir, Anant, DJ and Murtaza and all friends,

I have bought CAIRN 18 @ 268 in jun. After that till today's date cairn never touched even 250. Its highest closing price is 246.65 on 27-Jul-2009.

I am not getting when to average it or is it good to average it? Bcoz i am near about 15-16% down (for CAIRN).

I don't know even after averaging it, will it come to my average price. Other shares are going well bcoz they all traded as per Savant sir and Anant's call. But this CAIRN and PRAJIND both are down 15-16%.

What to do now? I know this is very stupid question but as my starting phase in trading i don't want to take any wrong decision.

Ask for full 20%, you will get another 9% - i.e. almost another 2000 (basis is 2500=11%). Why let it go -- if you default do they ever let you go?
give another firing and say as Savant Sir has told ---
I WILL WANT 20% AND NOTHING LESS.
Be strong. Do not accept lesser. Then they will know that u r very serious and WILL HAVE TO GIVE IN.

I called him and said that the penalty is 20% , he says no its 10% on top of that he says that i purchased the share at a high level (now its down) and that i should be happy with the amountas i have gained 25 rs more
what do i do now??

Hi Chennai,

First Take The Auction ContractNote From Him, Then Tell Him That You Are Sending The Details To The Exchange For Confirmation & Correctness.

Also Try Trade Verification In EQUITIES Tab Of NSE Site By Inputting The Details To Get If The Contract Note Is Genuine Or Not & Moreover You Will See The Actual Price Of The Auction.

Remember To Keep All Records Of Email From Your Broker, No Phone Conversation Because Difficult To Maintain Records.

i just now received a call from my broker stating that he has received the auc contract note from the main branch in India....i had invested 9900rs....got back 11400rs around 26rs more per share...around 11% gain..........he said 5% in the beginning after i fired him he has now given 11%!

Understand That You Make 20% Minimum Even If The Share Price Goes Down From Your Purchase.

Contract Note Is Generated By Broker With Details Of The Trade Received From The Exchange

CAIRN, Will Take Time Cause It Traks Crude Oil Prices.

No Need To Average CAIRN, But You Can Average PRAJ Today.

i will receive the contract note tomorrow after which i will verify. Lets see if something is wrong...it goes straight in the complaints column Gulf News:annoyed:

Just tried my luck.... I short it at 865 in d morning n bought it back immediately @ 845.
