Pooja,

While Savant takes his time replying, let me try to make sure you do not do anything in panic.

This specific advice was for today, since because of the global cues, we might have a very good opening, especially the midcaps. In such a situation, it is always better to sell into the strength and buy the same stocks back while a bit of weakness creeps in, maybe in the afternoon or maybe in the next 2-3 days.

This is for nimble traders and people who can access the markets throughout the day. If you are not in a position to do so, you might just want to hold. Sell only those which are running up today not the ones which are already in profit for you. Anything that runs 7-10% in one day will give you a dip or retrenchment.

Most stocks in your portfolio2 look good for the mid-term.
Do you still have the Nifty futures? If so, that should be giving you good profits today.

Regards,
Enygma.

Sirjee,

Wishing you & everyone Happy Ganesh festival.

Please i would like you to look at my attached portfolio. Not only my previous buys, even the fresh investmts i make like TVS Motor, Bartronics, Suzlon, Noida Toll, BVCl all of them in negative. As soon as i buy the stock, it jst keeps going down.:sos::(

Considering your advice, does it mean that market is going to be volatile as seen in last few trading sessions. Shd I sell MRPL, GVKPOW, ONGC. I am unable to understand when & what i should sell.

Thanks a ton Enygma..You made the message crystal clear.

I could not purchase Nifty futures on Savantji's suggestion the other day due to lack of funds.

Thanks & Regards
Pooja

I understand your point of the breakout.... But, does the break out from a resistance indicate a BUY?
Not always, manytimes the price swiftly changes its direction.

If so, How/When do we know that the resistance will be broken so that we can enter into the market?
Observe the chart of ROLTA, see how the prices have gapped and spreads have widened.

Also i would like to have some kind of trading software where i can try out things.... As of now i have nothing to work on? What do u use?
Like, you want a charting software or something else?

Unitech is doing quite good with decent volume today...

Any suggestions anyone?

btw... that is only among the bunch of 10-15 shares that I have been following ;)
Demand overcoming supply evident on 2nd last candle :)

I entered on Friday around 83 and will wait till 91. It already at 89.5 NSE
And I feel it could go up to 94, but I will be booking partial profit at 91.
