Hi SM,

Spread Quotes Are Marked Up By Individual Brokers On Both Bid & Ask, Similar To FX Brokers, Therefore Clients Will Not Know The Real Market Quotes & The Markup Will Take Care Of Brokerage & All Taxes...So Net Of BUY & SELL On Spread Quote Is Your Net Profit.

Not always, manytimes the price swiftly changes its direction.

Observe the chart of ROLTA, see how the prices have gapped and spreads have widened.

Like, you want a charting software or something else?
Hello Bunny,

If time permits can u explain me the following?

What actions should be taken in the following cases:

Case 1: wide spread and high volume
Case 2: narrow spread and high volume
Case 3: wide spread and low volume
Case 4: narrow spread and low volume

whenever i go through the book i seem to understand them, but then i am not being able to apply. Could you please tell me the appropriate action(BUY/SELL/HOLD) that has to be taken for the appropriate cases?

Yes!!! i am looking for a charting software. I had an eye on Amibroker but, dropped it on Savantjii advice:thumb:

Thanks

Demand overcoming supply evident on 2nd last candle :)

I entered on Friday around 83 and will wait till 91. It already at 89.5 NSE
And I feel it could go up to 94, but I will be booking partial profit at 91.
Hello Bunny,

On the third last bar, the price is falling with huge volumes. What does that indicate? how to know if the people are selling or buying?

On friday, the vol is much less compared to thursday but the price is still less than the higgher high of thursday. Does this indicate there is no selling pressure?

Hope i am not annoying u with all these questions

Thanks

Wide spread at high volumes at the top is usually a sign distribution will start soon, or is already in the process. This is a sign that weakness in not very far away.

Narrow spreads and high volumes are not quite common.

Narrow spreads and low volumes are common during accumulation or trading ranges.

High volumes and wide spreads are commonly used to pass through previous resistance. Once passed, the price retraces, comes into a support zone and resumes its upmove again.

Amibroker is quite expensive and not all that needed for everybody, unless you have big money.

We are not concerned with "people" are doing. We are worried only about what the professionals are doing.

Compared to 4th last candle, price and volume on 3rd candle are decreasing. This is like a "green shoot" that alerts us to lookout for a buy signal. The buy signal comes on Thursday when the smart money stops markdown. Though the low volume could be a concern, it is quite common in such setups and the volume recovers in the next session onwards.

Once the price moves above the resistance, the upmove pauses and the stocks price moves downwards in a small range(retracement) and then again starts it upmove.

hi Bunny,

Does the retracement after the upmove indicate a BUY? or can we place a trigger for BUY just above the resistance?

What is the Scenario when the vol is low and the spread is high?

Thanks
