Hi SM,

I Think I Know The Reason, Because I Too Tried To Check The Chart For PT But Couldn't Because It Is Only Traded On BSE, & I Only Download Bhavcopy Of NSE.

Your Data Provider Is Perhaps Giving Only NSE Scrips.

gussa matha ho mere bhai.

not able to find the charts any where except moneycontrol, based on which I can't say any thing.

1 year low Rs.0.81( adjusted for split of 1:10 in sept'09) high Rs. 26.60. ( ex-spit), at the same time EPS has decreased from 15 Rs. ( pre-split) to 6.3Rs. ( pre-split).

so, may be there is some news, which we don't know.

sorry bro. can't do anything except providing you the link.

Hi Tarun,

Yes... Theoretical Open Should Be Exactly As You Described....But Demand & Supply Of The Market When It Opens...Changes That A Bit...Therefore It Is Not Exactly As The Theoretical Open.

If Tracking The Scrip In Cash & F&O Before The Ex-Date...

You Will Find The Difference In The Quotes Of The 2 Segments Because Those Trading In F&O Segment Do Not Get The Benefit Of Dividend....

Hence, It Is Easy To Spot If A Scrip Is Pregnant With Dividend Or Not...Be Cautious, Because That Is Not Always The Case In Substantial Difference In Quotes.

ok so price on ex-date will be previous day close - dividend ( close to 150-6.5 )
