nah......think I will go through it all.Am not too much of an intellectual,do not approve of or found the need for sarcasm, and probably feelings and sensibilities would get affected, but what the heck, shall go through them all anyway.

Great going,my friend.............the paragraph in bold once again tells so much.Nice....

All the best!
Saint

Here's my philosophy on fishing

You give a man a fish, he owes you one fish
You teach a man to fish, you lose your monopoly on fishing

:D :D

Saint: Regarding being a doctor: How does it feel? Does it make you feel like a 'saint'? Are you a skilled surgeon? Anything special? How much did you or your parents pay for medschool? Did you only work in free clinics?

Did you ever charge a person for treatment? How did you make a living? Are you still practicing?
hahaha,I know where you are going with this :).Sufficient to know that am a trader for the last 10 years, and my lifestyle or whatever comes from my profits. The word "Saint" got coined by a few American trader friends when I used to trade their markets then.........nothing to do with anything else.

In your preceding posts in another thread I felt a large amount of hostility towards me+system developers+financial analysts i.e anyone who desire to make money from the finance industry. You covered that rage by saying only traders should be able to charge for any services related to finance which I believe is seriously inaccurate. If you wish we can argue this point in more elaborate detail.

So I just wanted to figure out what you preach and what you practice.
Make your money anyway you want,my friend.........my opinion stands.I find it loathsome that people without demat accts give tips to people who trade and gloat about it.Can I stop it?No.Why should I stop another from making his daily bread?Probably should not....but hate it anyway! But I wasn't meaning you...........From my understanding you don't fit that description. If not mistaken you are a mechanical trader who trades the markets.........So why the strong defence of such individuals when you are hardly like them?

Whats your networth? How did you get so rich?
Am I being rude?
Now I'm pusing it :D
Not rude at all......but pushing it,yes.:D

Regards,
Raja
P.S : I noted down a huge reply to your previous post but I decided to engage in some self restraint for a change.
I will post the entire post one at a time slowly. So that energy is not wasted and points are not skipped/jumbled/reedited/highlighted.
i.e converting non bold into bold and making rude/sarcastic comments all the time hiding behind politeness/humility/simplicity/ignorance.
ah,here comes the right hook..............not hiding behind anything,my friend. But you are free to formulate your own opinion.

Me vs saint:
Mano a mano: Women and children please stay out.
Goal? Black/White. Lets figure who stands for what.
Note: Saint is most likely my anima and I am Saint's anima.
So his statement regarding nagging housewives was a simple+rudimentary generalization based on partial/humble knowledge/incorrect generalization expressed without much humility and with a fair amount of hostility/condescension towards me and other intellectuals/young blood that wishes to debate/'nag'/'bicker'.
Feel free to say what you want,my friend.Carry on this unnecessary waste of time and energy.I don't believe in fighting and arguing........feel free to throw in all your punches. There will be no debate from my end till I see that probably something positive could come out of it.

So do carry on ,my friend!

Saint

See I can respect you for your co-operative behavior even though you have not yet learned to respect my competitive behavior/desire to argue. I hope you will appreciate it in due course of time.
I probably will,I stand down on that one!

Everything in your post was ok except that you edited my post and reassigned the bold comment to engage in a sarcastic/rude/below the belt punch at me.
You misunderstood that one...........I was trying to highlight that paragraph ..............."So anyway I did my best to keep the main point in bold, atleast this way everyone elses energies will not be wasted. I talk too much and yes I do not channel my energies productively. Thats a skill that I really need to acquire. Will take me a while.
Sorry. "........and voice my appreciation.Deepest apologies for not being clear. But what you understood was not what I meant.

Saint

Here are two positives that can come out of this
two points
a) Please post a detailed bibliography
b) Please atleast make an attempt to marshall the resources under your command to try and get the fishing rod developed.

Thanks,
Raja
Lol.....:D:D.....was trying to help the newcomer with a start ,that's it.So shall continue on this path, there are a few who are helped without doing any of the above.

But thanks for the suggestions anyway!

Saint

Sorry Saint nothing personal against you. my motivations are simple
As I mentioned earlier. You have done a gr8 gr8 gr8 job of teaching the simple stuff not so much because of the simple knowledge presented which is readily available in books, but because you are a generally good natured person who is very very good at answering concrete questions that too , POLITELY!
Thank you,my friend...

I wish to establish my place in the social/political heirarchy within this forum.
I wish to understand people and figure out who stands for what so I can figure out my allies and my enemies. There is no better way than starting right at the top.
hahahaha social/political hierarchy :confused:.........now there you go pulling my legs again!

As for my goals? They are not always nearly as noble as yours.
Though I am sure you would also concede that if you had spent $50,000 to learn how to code you would be looking to market your skills rather than giving them away for free?
Right or wrong?
Trade the markets.Market your skills.Make your money back and much more.May all success be yours.

You're still the best Saint, my friend!
I'll be happy with getting placed in the top 10 ;)

Cheers,
Raja
There is no hierarchy or politics over here........you are welcomed into the fold with warmth as always.I believe that each and every one of us.......we are all the best!Believe in it.Conquer the markets and make lotsa money!

Saint

ps:A gentleman's shake from a guy in Singapore to the guy in Germany, then:)

:D :D
Just fell off my chair, reading that.

I must admit here, that everytime i see a new post by Saint or Cv,i make it a point to read. And with CV its usually funny one liners.

Saint, well i am not qualified to write about him.A Gentleman-in the truest sense.

Hello friends,

Battle of the giants - I'm sure, is over.

After churning of the pond, let's hope that we'll get a fishing rod, at an early date, as promised.

Happily, the churning stopped, before the pool became very muddy.

Good exchange of knowledge, I believe.

With salutations to the active participants,
