Inflation ko maaro goli, abhi to deflation aana baaki hai ...

Aap ke zamaane mein, baap ke zamaane ke daam.
I believe, it is more of a political gimick.....!

When the Crude was shooting up and the UPA Govt raised the Petrol-Diesel rates from time to time, which became the primary cause for the prices to rise and the inflation......

When Crude cooled down, Govt is mum and is NOT reducing the rates, and is managing to keep the inflation rates high.

All Bogus Nautanki

Government's hand.

Adheer....

OK. I need to write the details :(

When Crude prices were rising, from time to time the Govt HAD TO INCREASE the prices of Petrol-Diesel. I never said in proportion to the rise in Crude... :D

But whatever was the proportion, this rise increased the transportation cost of any and every commodity, and the prices in general, went up, leading to increase in inflation figures.

Now, the Crude is cooling down. IF the Govt reduces the Petrol-Diesel prices,,, [& please note that I am NOT saying in the same proportion.... but whatever reduction the govt could do].... the transporation cost for any and every commodity shall reduce, bringing down the prices, leading to decrease in the inflation figures.

Therefore....... although we have had a reduction in inflation figures, it would have been much more, had the Petrol-Diesel prices been reduced to whatever extent possible.

That has NOT been done. Which means that for some reason, some people do NOT wish the reduction in the transportation cost.... and that to, without making it evident..... and yet, everyone in the govt speaks of being concerned and taking firm steps in bringing down the prices....Nautanki for sure.

SS,

I think now there will be tremendous pressure on GOVERNMENT to reduce
Petrol/Diesel prices because earlier they said the high inflation was due high
Crude cost. Now crude has cooled down and also inflation. Now they are
forced to reduce the petrol/diesel prices, but for SELFISH reasons they may
postpone it a little longer.

Actually, it is the FM responsible for the major game, along with all politicians of parties of UPA.

When Crude was rising, from time to time, he had reduced the Customs/Excise duty on Crude, making it available cheap to oil companies. In reality, the govt was NOT loosing the money.

Like for example, if price of some commodity is 50 and the rate is 60%, the govt stills earns the same when the price rises to 60 and the rate cut down to 50%

So, if the prices of Petrol-Diesel are to be brought down, then the original rate for customs/excise duties need to be reinstated.... or in short, to be raised back.

FM does not want to have a deficit in collection, and would want to raise these rates, but what about all other politicians of the parties of UPA?

With the elections almost round the corner, what would be the reaction if these duty rates are increased? Who really understands the meaning behind all these numbers ... and who tries to understand?

Everyone is always 'Impatient' .
Cheers!

Itne Adheer Kyon ho Bhai...?

Let me summerise what all I have said -

Whatever is the inflation figure declared today, it could have been less, had the Petrol-Diesel prices been reduced earlier.

But these prices were not reduced because of Political Gimmick, which I called Nautanki.

Petrol-Diesel retail prices have some connection with the import of Crude oil, which also has some connection with the Crude rate prevailing in the world market. But,.... that has nothing to do with GOLD

I write this summary, because I have NOT understood a damn thing from your last message addressed to me..... so dumb of me :D
