And talking of long countdowns, SBI completed its "SELL" countdown yesterday. Given the market conditions ... I do not think that's going to happen.

@Smart Trade - GMR Infra has completed it setup imo.

For me - what I see - any pattern whatsoever, if it takes place at extremes gives super results - whatever it may be - WW, Dbl Top, HnS or whatever, same with TDST.

Can u confirm the same ? GMR Infra.

GMR Infra chart posted. It completed 2 consecutive set ups. So which one we consider for count down ? The length of the first setup is ( 26-19.65)=6.35 and the length of the second setup which was completed today as we got a flip today is (20.55-16.75)=3.80 so the first set up is larger in length so we have to count the countdown on first set up and we now got 13 countdown days and a green candle to go long...

Sequential,TDST are trend exhaustion identification patterns and they like WW work very well when the market has taken a sustained move and is fully extended so that it becomes ripe for reversal.

This is what i understand for a recycle situation....

the range of 1st setup is Rs 6.35/-
the range of 2nd setup is Rs 3.05/-

as the range of 2nd setup is less than 1st setup the countdown of 1st setup is to be continued!!!

i still would like to know the ST's opinion in this matter....

i miscalculated the range of 2nd setup... although my observations are right!!!:clapping:

Ritesh I don't like to use you for the grunt work, but don't take it hard - I am also doing some grunt work.

I was looking at power grid. It completed countdown (per AFL) yesterday. However, it was a huge extended countdown. Would you consider it, or did it get canceled at some point?

no issues sanjosdesiji... with this grunt work i am just gaining more hang of this system and also it helps me contribute to the health of this thread and knowledge of members....

the sell setup completed on 07/09/2012

even though the intersection took place on 9th setup bar the countdown only started from 21/09/2012 which is also true by the AFL...

as per my chart and afl, the countdown is still at the 11th CD completed bar...

i would request you to please take a look again... if possible please upload the chart so that i can compare....

I will be mostly out today, so no testing, no trading, no TJing. Something changed in my ami (I am new to ami) and the picture looks very different. Will check over the weekend or later. But the picture with bars should be what you asked for.

there seems to be difference in calculation by afl or by the data provider

as you can see in your chart there is a complete buy set up but in my chart the buy setup never occurred... i am afraid this is mostly due to price differences...

i think a little labor work is required from both of us...

i would request you to check the your data with nse if you find any wrong data than please post and the same i will do with my data and post abt any wrong data from my end...

this way we can mark which days data are wrong... this will also evaluate our data providers reliability....

hello, for the AFL please look at the page 37 of this thread..

to understand this system you will require a lot reading to do... i would recommend you to go through this thread...

after that if you r not clear abt some points than please post... thread followers will be glad to help...

Sorry man, I will do it, but I am severely backlogged in my work. I use a Windows over Mac, and have even shut down my Windows so as to focus on my work. Will do - but need time. Probably by end of Tuesday.
