Trade Smart Online

Hello timepass,
Kindly share the error you are getting with the Verify Trades option.

Doubt NSE is going to share the database of what trades actually caused your order to be executed. Have you seen that data somewhere? Maybe you mean something else and we have a different idea in mind.
I had posted it elsewhere in this thread. Here it is again.
Further, 1) the tick data that I have doesn't show any entry for 53.95

2) My trade was executed at 10:58:19 as per the trade book. As per the data the price at the time was 53.25

The error from NSE website is :

Since NSE does make the data available to various providers, I don't think that it would be a big secret. There must be some way to get it.

Also, how does one go about reaching the appropriate authorities to make changes in SL-L order so that the trigger price also acts as a ceiling/floor?? How does one make sure that the suggestion reaches the right entities and gets a fair hearing ?

Hello TradeSmartOnline

I was informed by a friend that NOW prevented him from buying Nifty 6400 Puts claiming that it is on expiry day. Firstly, this is not factually correct. Today (24 Dec) is Tuesday, so as of today morning, there were 2 trading sessions left.

Next, 6400 is ITM and in all probability, it will expire in the money which if exercised, customer will have to pay higher taxes. It is great that you think
about reducing expenses of the client, but if an investor wants to exercise it, you, as a broker should not prohibit that.

You can certainly issue a warning but you cannot deny a trade as long as funds are present in the account

Ask him to post the exact error. It should be in his order book. Maybe it would be difficult to sustain this complaint without knowing further details.

I guess it was an error saying that he can't buy in "NRML" mode.

Yes, That is what I've also understood

RMS:Blocked for OPTIDX; block type: NON-SQROFF

Whether he wants to buy intraday or delivery is not for VNS to decide. It is certainly nice that VNS wants to make him aware of the risk but it should be warning, not an outright rejection!!!

Hello VNS,

1) I recently used your remote access service - ShowMyPCService - TightVNC service etc.. To my surprise, I now find that by default, TightVNC service is now in my startup and quietly starts with the computer. There was no notification about it in the install procedure, it has made a decision to keep itself in the startup without asking me.

2) The "Configuration" menu of TightVNC does NOT have an option to turn it off.

Do you expect your customers to access your technical service so frequently that you want them always connected ? Or is it that you want to sneak into the users' PC ??

3) Alarmingly, TightVNC/ShowMyPCService does NOT show up in the list of installed programs, so it CAN NOT BE UNINSTALLED using conventional methods or by a casual user.

Of course, I can turn it off using msconfig or maybe using some uninstallers, but it's ugly - your program sitting in my PC ALL THE TIME without notifying me. It's sneaky and ()*)^%%*.

Please make amends to the program so that

a) it does not launch automatically with the computer startup
b) it shows up in the installed programs list and can be uninstalled.

I hope I am clear.

Here are some screenshots.

i) TightVNC in the tray programs, starting up automatically.

ii) TightVNC/ShowMyPCservice not seen in the list of installed programs.

Hello timepass,
Sorry about this. We agree that it is very annoying to have a software sitting on your pc if you do not need it. Will certainly report this to ShowMyPC.

In the meanwhile, please try the steps mentioned here to remove TightVNC
http://showmypc.com/faq/uninstall-showmypc.html

We'll also test the same on one of our office PCs tomorrow.

Ok. tested it on our pc. Pls follow the below steps and it'll disappear.

Uninstalling ShowMyPC Access Home or Office Service Manually
On certain PC in rare cases due to conflicting programs you may have to remove ShowMyPC service manually.
Step 1) Login as Administrator of the PC.
Step 2) Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. (It may differ on your version).
Step 3) Locate SMPCHelper, tvnserver and uvnc_service (if exists) and stop them and change the startup type to manual so that they do not automatically start.
Step 4) Restart your PC, next time any services will not start.
Step 5) After restart, remove the folder c:\Program Files\ShowMyPCService and its contents.

Merry Christmas! :)

Hi Trade SMart,

I want to know how to change the color of the figures displayed on the NEST + plus.

The combination of Red background and white font is not user friendly especially on 1 min charts.

Following is the url for the screen shot.
