Trade Smart Online

I don't have account with TSO if you want to check the tick data in TSO terminal.
But also please note all the ticks that happen at exchange need not necessarily be viewed at terminal. You view a subset of it but the execution happens on all of the ticks. This is for all the brokers. This was discussed in another brokers thread here.

Your best bet to verify if the trigger happen correctly is to verify from nse website.
Thanks. How to verify it from nse website ? Are all the trades listed there ? Please provide some link to verify that. The "Verify Trades" link of nseindia.com was not working yesterday. I have written to the webmaster but not yet received a reply.

Verify trade is the way to go.
The other quick option is nse tame 1 min chart but options chart are not provided.

I have sent a mail to NOW ([email protected]) and a copy to VNS ([email protected]). Will keep the forum updated in this regard. If the members have any suggestions regarding future correspondence with NOW, please give your inputs.
Hello TSO,
I sent a copy of the mail to you, and a reminder yesterday too. I haven't had any response either from NOW or from your side.

I hope that you will look into it and that I receive a satisfactory explanation.

I have also asked your team for the data for 10:58:18 and 10:58:19am because I want to know about the trades which triggered my trade. All the reports show that my trade was executed at 10:58:19 and the tick data that I have shows no entry for the price at which my trade was executed.

Please do the needful.

I shall follow it up on Monday with you.

Hi TSO, Do you provide good margin for BTST type trades (Cash segment) and what would be the amount of margin provided? I like trading with BTST in the cash market with volume scrips such as Tata Steel, RCOM, etc and would like to increase my margin. I have heard that some brokers provide upto 4 times margin, but I am not sure of who they are.

Hello timepass,
We'll certainly update you if we hear from the NOW team but pls do understand that this is not an issue with NOW. This is how the exchanges process orders.

Also, please let us know what data you are looking for from us. The orders are executed in micro seconds and the data we get from the exchanges are snapshots of a particular time. If you wish to check details of your order execution on the exchange, Verify Trades seems like the best option.

Please let us know in case you have any other questions.

Hello Suresh Kumar,
Sorry we do not provide additional margin for BTST. We rquire 100% margin for delivery.

Thanks for the reply.

1) Yes, I now understand how a SL order works. Yes. I now know that it is programmed to work like a market order after it is triggered.

2) Yes, I am aware of the above link sent by you for trade verification. But it has not been working at my end and I have written TWICE to nsewebmaster about it. I haven't yet received a reply about it.

I want

a) to find out what trades triggered my trade because there was the minimum gap between my order and trades. The various reports show that my trade was executed at 10:58:19 and I was watching the screen continuously and must've missed the trade that triggered mine. I know that the trades are executed in microseconds but somewhere there must be a database containing all the details or the trade orders and execution.

That is the database I am trying to access for the relevant period i.e. 2 seconds from 10:58:18 to 10:58:19, so that I can analyse what went wrong and how and what could I have done to prevent it. Don't want to leave anything to "luck".

This is where I need your help, in obtaining the data for this scrip for those 2 seconds.

b) Before this incident, the traders here DID NOT know that a SL-L did not define a range. So, this has been a learning process for most of us. I would like to contact NOW /NSE or whoever the relevant entities to appeal that a SL-L order be treated as defining a range.

PS : I haven't received any reply either from NSE or from NOW.

Hello timepass,
Kindly share the error you are getting with the Verify Trades option.

Doubt NSE is going to share the database of what trades actually caused your order to be executed. Have you seen that data somewhere? Maybe you mean something else and we have a different idea in mind.

Hello VNS,

Today the software didn't allow the options in NRML type, only MIS type. Will it be the same on Thursday ?

Also, a request. Fewer popup messages please. At least don't repeat the msgs so often.
Yes, only buy orders will not be allowed in NRML on Thursday as it is expiry and there's a risk of long options expiring in the money.

About fewer popups, we'll see what we can do so that the message is conveyed to people logging in at different times. At the same time it's not much of a distraction for people who've already seen the message. Thanks for the feedback.
