@ TPO ,

Query 1. Some of the states are not shown in the list provided by you where details about Stamp duty rates as per state residence are shown.

How could one know about the stamp duty rate in such states which are not mentioned in ur list ? For eg. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand , Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand etc.

Query 2. If I want to sell one lot NIFTY CE ATM strike of current month [suppose LTP of the CE ATM is at 120] in MIS product then what will be the amount needed for placing this trade ? Please give a figure of approximate amount and not in terms of Span / MTM etc.

Thanks.
In Addition to Query 2, do You provide MIS product in Options Selling ? If Yes then plz. clarify on Query 2 as I was unable to find any such information on your website.

Hi Leonid, Query 2: We do provide MIS product in option selling. The approx margin requirement for selling one lot of NIFTY CE ATM of strike price at 8650 is approx. Rs. 9122

Query 1: On stamp duty we have already posted the rates in thread 229.

Apologies for the delay. Missed out the query.

@ TPO , Thanks for the reply .

Another Query which is last hurdle of queries in my account opening process with you guys .. :)

If my permanent address is in a state where the stamp duty is under the category of NO LIMIT i.e. Delhi and I also have a Care Of address - correspondence address of another state , to be specific Himachal Pradesh which has a maximum limit of Rs. 30 for stamp duty for a day . If I open an account with the address of Himachal Pradesh care of residence then what will be the rates of stamp duty applied to my account i.e. will they be as per Delhi which is my permanent residence state or Himachal Pradesh , the address which I will provide.

Thanks.

Well Lenoid, whatever proof of address you provide, the stamp duty will be applied based on that state address. So if you can provide a proof of address of Himachal Pradesh, then the stamp duty of Himachal Pradesh would be applied. The key thing here is the proof of address.

Pls clarify the margin for options selling-

1. Its span/2 or span +mtm expo/2 as you mentioned in your web page.

2. Similarly for mcx cover order?

Hi Ram2010,

1. For Options selling it is (SPAN+Exposure Margin (also called Additional Margin)) / 2

2. Cover order margin for MCX is SPAN / 4. Currently there is no additional margin for MCX. If and when that is applied it would be (SPAN + additional) / 4
