An amount of Rs.10.35 was charged to my account for shortfall of Margin Rs.1843.05 for oneday @0.50 stating it asper FMC guidelines.It comes around 182.5% for the whole year. Please advise whether it is in order and where I can find these guidelines.

Hi BSRAO, The penalty for margin shortfall is as per FMC circular reference No.6/11/2012-MKT-I dated March 14,2014 and MCX circular MCX/C&S/109/2014 dated March 29, 2014. You can check for these circulars on MCX website. Request you to also forward your queries to [email protected]
