I guess they just made it up.
No I stopped trading with them. They should mention the details of stamp duty of all the states in their website. Still I say they are cheating in the name of stamp duty, but they should know they are not the only beoker to trade with.

Hi Leonid,

Thank you for bringing the error to our notice. The same has been rectified now. For a turnover of 1 Cr. in Options premium, the Education cess is Rs. 18 and Higher Edu cess is Rs. 9 and total charges is Rs. 9277.

Currently we are not charging SEBI turnover charges. We plan to start charging the same from 1st April 2015.
How is it that a broker can get away by not paying SEBI Fees? I don't know much but it just sounds odd. I mean, it's SEBI!

Hi classifiedindian, we never mentioned that we did not pay SEBI fees. We only mentioned that we did not pass in on to our clients earlier. We were absorbing the fees. Hope this clarifies. The SEBI fees is automatically debited to broker account based on turnover.

Thanks for clarifying that out.. I was just a little stunned earlier.. It's good to know that everyone here are compliant with all the rules.. As only with deeper faith in the system can this sector grow further..

Cheers!

Why would u absorb the SEBI fees? I mean why will anyone do charity like that? Sounds like a scam.. Lol just kidding.. BTW, do u mind telling the forum members what was your revenue in FY2014?
