rangarajan sir.
in case of future, vwap value and atp both are same or different?
if not then for future how will i get atp value?
suppost, long trade has initiated and sl not triggered and if in the same time a short trade condition fullfilled then should i stay long untill sl triggered or closing the previous position will go for fresh short?
thanks in advance.

regards
bapan

bapan,
For practical purpose, both r same for our strategy, though mathematically different.

Yrs is a valid question & the answer is already there in the thread.

To clarify once again,if the Trade is already triggered, till the s/l is Not taken, the other side trade should not be entered.

Having said that,u should be on alert & at the next possible advantageous opportunity, even at B/even,u should exit.

Dear Rangarajan,

You can get ATP of futures for any day. But you have to calculate it. The method used by pravin is correct.
ATP = Total Traded value / (Total number of contracts traded X lot size)

For those who r trading ATP,

Sail gave profit.

IBrealest,the initial Long gave Loss.

However,subsequent Short,gave double profit.:clapping:

Believe in the system & conviction.

karnaniji,
U seem to have selective Amnesia.:)

When I seem amnesic, I am probably holding Mcdowell position and maybe Mcdowell's product affects me !

Sir, very difficult to be posting in a sideways market when the positions are held for longer than normal time period.

Must say it was a nice observation !
