Upstox - RKSV - Trade in Rs 20 Max

Hi Ninja Trader

U Say
"The comparative example trade you posted was giving wrong impression to a newbie that rksv is cheaper to trade than zerodha for this trade. You added, 40 rs as, brokerage for zerodha but not rksv to arrive at a lower breakeven price. Your breakeven point is not 0.01 at rksv for this trade if you add 1947 rupees (+ service tax on this 1947) as brokerage"

Ok

1) As u mention above that what i compare is giving wrong impression to newbie that RKSV is cheaper then ZERODHA u mean to say i am wrong or i doing it intentionally no boss i am not a spoke person of RKSV or i am not doing it for the sake of someone open account at RKSV under my referral.

2) What I want to say 2187 brokerage is deducting from u r account on vary first day of the month by RKSV so dont think about brokerage whoever open account with RKSV is aware about advance brokerage he/she is paying i already mention if anyone trade more then 3 trade per day RKSV is suitable if it is less then 3 then ZERODHA

3) What i am trying to say is u not understand if u see my post carefully then u will realise even adding 40 RS as a brokerage to RKSV u r paying lesser charges compare to ZERODHA i am giving all the Break Up on Break even point is for other charges which both brokerages charging, still ZERODHA does not include Stamp Duty charges in there calculator becoz its 0.01 % or 50 Rs whichever is lower on u r total day transaction but its totally depend upon how many trade u trade on that day.

4) Now come to Break Even point why i am giving more importance to it as everyone knows whoever is member of RKSV or ZERODHA is day traders all the human emotions greed, fear etc etc are there mostly option traders facing such situation if u r breakeven is lower psychologically u are more relax doing trading if u want to cut u r position in loss u can do it becoz u r breakeven is lower & u r other charges also so u can pull the trigger easily in u r loosing trade

5)If u check today option on October series 5400 CE most of the day there i 0.40 Paise difference between Buy & Sell price last Bid for Buy 103.00 & last Bid for Sell 101.25 difference is 1.75 closing price 102 now there are brokers who are charges 25 Rs to 100 Rs per lot but those who want to take benefit of this bid & sell is mostly ZERODHA & RKSV traders (It is my assumption becoz so many times i did it) u can call them scalpers but yes everyone here to earn money.

6) Check NSE complaint list of brokers since 9 month inception RKSVs name not in list others are there, only one issue they have with someone for Telephone line they order another line

U say
"I can also post a hypothetical trade with different assumptions about a trader, which will show zerodha is the cheapest of all brokerages, and has the lowest real breakeven point than even rksv. Which may be true for a average retail trader/investor but which may not apply to a scalper, jobber, arbitrageur's trading plan."

U say hypothecial trade with assumption u r wrong whatever examples i am giving i am using both ZERODHA & RKSVS calculator u can try & let me know any other broker with lesser break even only one condition is software must be user friendly for call & trade call must be connected within 10 second once i reach IVR becoz i already try R K Global & i know there software

Dont mind i just remember one thing in Mumbai some Hotels offer Unlimted THALI with little higher price menu is same like limited THALI but u can eat as much as u can on Unlimited one so its totally depend upon our DIGESTION to take this Unlimited THALI or limited THALI with lesser price.

santaji4,

I am trying to figure out difference for both the brokers.

Stamp duty for Zerodha(50) > Rksv (approx 20..not sure...need to check) ......?????

for following case.

Daily I would do the following
  • Trade 1 , BankNifty Futures , Single Lot buy and Sell ....
  • Trade 2 , BankNifty Futures , Single Lot buy and Sell.....

Thanks,
Raju

For all the effort that we put deciding on brokers!!!!

Penny wise pound foolish, I would say!!! If there were 10 things that decide on profitability of a trader, which broker will probably be 7th or 8th on the list...

Before starting full time trading, have been on prop desks of few firms.. Opened an account with RKSV, personally had a bad experience, but stopped after... Once a while I am on this forum, pretty interesting to see all the posts..

Stop worry about brokerage so much, start worrying about your trading systems...

Creep,

You are right..we should stop investing time in brokers related discussion and focus on trading system.

But somewhere I feel that in business we should always see how to reduce cost.

Thanks for the advice...buddy...

Regards,
Raju

Dear RKSV / Dear Friends

Are any of you using Mobile trading ? I want to know few things!

1. Which Mobile would serve trading purpose best?

2. I am Not interested in so called big blood sucking parasite brands like ICICI or IIFL sort of.

3. Any broker who is providing NSE now, can trading be done through him via Now Mobile ?

@ RKSV - Can your client do Mobile trading ?

Any addtional information regarding mobile trading would be most welcome.

P.S. I dont know if this is right thread to post my query, you can also suggest where else I can post this query.

Thanks in Advance

Brokerage can run into thousands of rupees per day with a costly broker for intraday traders. Can't see how it is not important ??
