Today at 4.20 pm , I received a call from NSE saying that there are orders being placed at NOW terminal from my a/c which may create problems , but I am trading on ZT (NEST). How this can happen ?

hello,
Received the contract note some time back. the discrepancy between the order time and trade time is seen today as well. nse trade details are at odds with the trade times mentioned.

Hi Zerodha,

I have been trading in NSE with you. Ten days back I opened commodities account. And transferred some amount for the purpose of trading in commodities. When I saw the limit balance in commodities, it shows zero. The amount transferred is in NSE account. Do we need to maintain two account. One for NSE and another for MCX. Cant' we use the balance in NSE to trade MCX and vice versa. During the course of trade if I find any short of funds, can the funds be immediatly be transferred from one account to another account without charge?
Yes Jeareh,

The funds for equity and commodity has to be kept separate and can't be combined as per NSE, SEBI , MCX and FMC regulations.

Hello,
I have been writing numerous mails to you at [email protected] (cc: nandkumar)in context of "inaccurate settlement prices shown in p&l reports, inaccurate buy/sell prices in p&l reports" while accessing the back-office records. There has been no follow up on the complaints so far. Kindly look into it.
I also have come across some discrepancies in my contract notes with respect to the "trade time". A single order placed and completed within a few moments during the day shows absurd "trade time" in the contract note. For eg : order time 11.35 am trade time: 15.56,11.51,11.35.... Quite a few times trades are shown to be completed a good twenty minutes after the order time though they were completed within a few moments during the day . also, the nse trade details does not show this kind of discrepancy. Could you explain the reason behind the same?
The time might be a once in a few days phenomenon I guess.

What happens usually is that when an order is executed, the counterparty to the order gets an option to request for cancellation of a trade. So if I bought 2 lots of Nifty 6500 Jan contract at market and got a really bad price for this, I can request Zerodha to apply for cancellation of trade.

This request is then sent to the counterparty broker and exchange to see if they approve it. Exchange rejects 99% of such requests unless if there was something really freaky about the trade.

All such trades which was requested to be cancelled, will show time after 3.30pm as exchange would have rejected the request after close of market.
