Zerodha,

Are you here to respond to only particular queries? Please make this clear so that we do not waste time here asking them....

As an old client and well-wisher of yours I would like to tell you frankly that now your service standards are not what they used to be. You have definitely slipped somewhat on this front. When a month or so back I had asked some queries and help on some issues by email, I got a response from you after 3-4 hours! It used to be very quick earlier.

Today during the trading hour, I emailed you for help regarding some issue I was facing with my trade. It needed urgent assistance but my email remained unanswered. Have Not got any response from you till now.

For quite some days you have gone quite silent here on Traderji also! O.k, granted, we make too much noise and may be distract you....but I hope all is well with you...

Kindly make it clear what type of queries you would attend... Thanks
@Punter/VJAY

This week has been pretty chaotic with the holidays and the flu which is running in our office. Guess the response time for emails should be back to normal from Monday.

Response time on Traderji, hmm.. We are launching our new website and Z-connect next week :) , all of us are working to make that happen..

Hopefully you will appreciate it once it is up.. :)...

Why so?

Isn't a copy right breach ? Zerodha and other brokerages whoever pay to NEST for the use of NEST software, should not change to their own name.

I think it's a breach of software license copy right.
It is a white labelled product, anyone licensing it can call it whatever they want.

Today at 4.20 pm , I received a call from NSE saying that there are orders being placed at NOW terminal from my a/c which may create problems , but I am trading on ZT (NEST). How this can happen ?
Do you have an account with any of the other brokerages? Also it is very surprising, NSE never calls anyone.. Can you double check by calling back to see the number from where you received the call..

The time might be a once in a few days phenomenon I guess.

What happens usually is that when an order is executed, the counterparty to the order gets an option to request for cancellation of a trade. So if I bought 2 lots of Nifty 6500 Jan contract at market and got a really bad price for this, I can request Zerodha to apply for cancellation of trade.

This request is then sent to the counterparty broker and exchange to see if they approve it. Exchange rejects 99% of such requests unless if there was something really freaky about the trade.

All such trades which was requested to be cancelled, will show time after 3.30pm as exchange would have rejected the request after close of market.
hello,
I think it has been happening on a regular basis. Also, there are a few "trade time"s having a lag of 10/20 min to the "order time" during the market hours. Additionally the nse trade details arent showing the same trade times as the contract notes. An explanation would be highly appreciated. regards.

Interesting. But by rule one can not call it by their own name even though you have license.

License is to use the software not to change the original name.

For example: You have license of Microsoft window 8 but you can not call it Ztrade when you are using it.

Can you do it :D

In nutshell: License is to use the software not to change it to your name.

That's my opinion according to law of copy right.

By the way this applies to any broker.

5, it is a white labelled product unlike what you have mentioned about microsoft...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-label_product

Meta trader is among the most popular trading platform in currency trading, but every brokerage calls it what they want..

As long as the company let's you white label it, there is no issue.. Omnesys let's you white label the product..

Its depend on software company how they want to sell there product.
This will nothing to do with copy right. If some company open to change there
product name as per client requirement, No copy right law will stop that.

Its is called private labeling and nest trader is sold this way, many brokerages have their own name for the nesttrader

Zerodha,

Stop loss in the cover order cannot be modified kya??? Have tried to modify it in the past, and I modified it today also, but despite accepting the submitted modified stop loss it goes (went) with the old SL. Has happened with me in both stock and futures. I have taken losses a couple of times 'cos of it now . Today I again took a hit 'cos it did not change my SL. Kindly tell CO can be modified or not. Thanks.

**Modified SL was well within the range, btw.
