Now it seems that they have "resolved" the issue by squaring off the order at a heavy loss to me.



Then there was this snafu of "modify validation pending" and it wasn't executed, though the price did reach my price.

Finally, they closed it at Rs. 13000 loss to me !!!!!!!

Let's see what they do at EOD. They should cancel the original position itself, if not settle it at 118.1

Had a lengthy conversation with them about it.

They say that I entered the order with 13 ticks target and 42 ticks SL (as against my version of 13 ticks SL and 42 ticks target).

I think you can check in NEST Trader in order history. It gives all details of a particular order.

Kite has much slower response than Ztrader. In fact, from tomorrow I am giving up using Kite.

Yes, all that is available to both. What they want to say that it wasn't their fault, that perhaps it was my fault that cause their software error. The order history clearly says that the the modification at 13:45 says "Modify Validation Pending".

Hope its resolved soon..
I stopped using Kite coz the drawings/ markings disappear suddenly and i can't keep drawing again for intraday trades. :annoyed::annoyed:

bhai, how can they say that it is your fault, when their software did not allow you to modify the order. They cannot make excuse based on SL and Target, when their software is not allowing the order to be modified. :mad:

They should compensate for their software issue.

1) For now, they have debited the whole amount to my account (Rs. 13803) !!
2) The customer care closes at 7pm, so I guess no use trying to contact them now.
3) The ticket is still open, so I guess someone should look at it tomorrow.

The whole order history shows that their system was unavailable at least between 13:45 to 14:14.

I strongly suspect that there is something hinky with their order management system, which is why my SL and target got mixed up. But even if one grants that I did make a mistake in order placement, the whole history of the order shows that I was constantly modifying it to square off, because I had recognized it as a bad trade.

Look at the history of the order (image below). See the gap between 13:45 when it says "Modify validation pending" and 14:13

Also notice the history of the order right from its first moment at 13:40 when it was generated. Notice that I was constantly modifying it.

I'm not asking for any compensation, just reverse the whole thing is what I am asking. This problem has happened earlier, 4-5 times, with Zerodha, and every time they have reversed the trades.

 
This is very serious issue. It's their terminal issue and they should resolve this matter ASAP. Financial/trading related software must be robust.
For seeing these issue I am very nervous, it can happen to anyone.:mad:

KITE is their own in-house software and I too observe the slowness in price update and orderbook issue. So not using it now days.

I am currently sticking with Zerodha but I know these issues will cost Zerodha in future.

What is call and trade numbers. I don't have any.
Please update as it may be required when we get any issue in execution of order.
You have to press "1" after you call them on the customer care number.

The funny thing is that they ask you to type in your customer code + trading PIN before connecting you, and then when you start with your requests, ask again for your customer code/pin etc.
