Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

Punter,

Just double checked, you are getting margins as per the margin tool for both the stocks you mentioned, 3 times and 6 times for MIS and CO respectively.
If memory serves me well, I think it was different that day. Maybe the margin was changed internally but was not updated there. Have noticed that your leverage department remains quite active there :)

Is GTC {good till cancel } facility available with any broker to trade in cash segment . Does that pending order gets placed automatically next day in preopen session or at 9.15 am ??
One of my friend told it available with icicidirect. don't know the timing.

Hi Zerodha

Just a general query, not related to my trading with Zerodha but process related.

I was opening a new account with a bank. The bank has an application to be filled. The application has two pages for POA.

But apart from the POA contained within the application form, the agent asked to sign Rs 500 stamp paper POA also that too two copies. He said that he needs two copies of this Rs 500 stamp paper for franking purpose.

Now I am not very sure if this stamp paper POA is required or not? Please share your experience and view.

thanks !!

Please note that these GTC orders aren't GTC in the real sense. Actually, ICICIDirect places a new order every day.
When you place a myGTC order, you give an order instruction to I-Sec stating that if the order is not executed for the entire quantity, I-Sec is authorised to place fresh orders for the unexecuted quantity in your account on the subsequent trading days till the entire quantity is executed. The feature allows you to specify the number of days during which you wish to place the orders.
