Stock X moves from 90 to 100 :

Trade 1 ) Buy at 90 and cover at 100.

Trade 1a ) Sell at 96 and cover at 92. (Note, this is a sub-trade or trading the pullback)

Will this require only 7k+ limits for order?

In my case, I made a loss in the first trade, but still it allowed me the third trade just with 7400 (7686-277) margin . Thank you Z.

in zerodha nest trader, there is no intraday chart...

nest plus chart showing last more than 20 days chart... (it not use for day traders)

where i should see the intraday day chart with details price and volume on particular day.. 9.15am to 3.30pm..

in ztrader intraday chart is not clear. it not showing exact price and volume..

pls introduce the intraday chart in new software.. thanks

(soon i will upload another brokinghouse intraday chart, my friend using, its very good for day traders)

I can't see the position conversion button again after I press F11. I haven't traded today so I don't know what's really going on. I don't want to take a trade just to know whether the button's going to appear.

What's up with Zerodha?

2 days in a row now, crucial features were missing from the Z-trader app first thing in the morning. Yesterday, fund transfer via the app did not work until 9:30 and then today the "position conversion" tab was unavailable again until 9:30.

Crucial features to malfunction before market opening, don't you think? You plan your funds based on the assumption that "fund transfer" and "position conversion" will always work. I mean, I wouldn't care about "options calculator" or top N securities going kaput. I can view them on some other app or on another site. Not the case with funds transfer and position conversion and other core trading features!

One day I guess it's okay. Two days in a row? hmm..

So, what's up?

Further to my last post, I restarted ZT and the "position conversion" button re-appeared. I have no idea at what time was the glitch rectified since I didn't check it at 9:00 am. But it did happen.

3 times in 5 days now!

So, again, what is up with Zerodha?

True, but at the start of the day when you want to convert your overnight NRML to MIS, you have to go through F11. What do you do when you find the "position conversion" button missing then? Is there another way out?

Or just wait for someone to fix the problem?
