Hi

On my Zerodha trader platform I am not able to see NIFTY under NFO , only S&P 500, FTSE and DJ are coming , though I am able to see NIFTY under my market watch in Z5. What could be the issue?

if I buy stock on dips , how to find average price ?

say,

I buy stock1 - Qty 10 on date1 @200 RS
I buy stock2 - Qty 20 on date2 @100 RS
I buy stock1 - Qty 30 on date3 @20 RS
I buy stock2 - Qty 40 on date4 @300 RS
I buy stock1 - Qty 50 on date5 @50 RS


how do I find Average buy price of stock1 , Average buy price of stock2 and their total quantities from BACKOFFICE ?Is there any quicker workaround through backoffice ?

Here's the path to get the Average buying price of a Stock:

Backoffice --> NSE EQ --> Volume Analysis --> Enter Trade from Date and to Date --> Select Report Option as "Sum with Market Rate" and click on Report..

However you would be able to view the Average price for one Financial Year only.. If you've made a purchase before 01/04/2013, you'll have to change the Financial Year..

This report also compares your buy average price with the Current Market Value of the equity and gives you the profit/loss..

and apart from Mega's query, can you also verify if there's a section in back office where our portfolio (demat holdings) with Cost and valuation can be viewed.

The Volume Analysis report gives you this information.. You can view the above post to know how to generate it..

Can you send an email to [email protected] , it shouldn't happen

What you could try is logout and while logging in click on confirm scrip download.
