Guys,

I know there were a lot of issues over last 1 month and our support team has been pushed hard. If that wasn't enough, Nithin ran the biggest prank in any office, with fake police raid, and scaring the **** of everyone at the Zerodha support office.. :)

here is the video, and this is the beautiful 10,000 sqft bungalow where we work from.. :)

Raj, speed at which data table or charts update cannot really match every tick by tick trade that is executed on the exchange, especially towards the closing of the market where the activity increases by quite a bit. It is just not NEST/ZT, you can pull any platform. There could be 10 trades executed in 1 second, so there will be a lot of trades and hence the prices, that will not be possible to be captured on charts, or data table.
You can double check using the trade number on NSE itself.
Cheers,
Not every tick change has to be shown in realtime, But shouldn't the data itself be accurate? Can you not calculate the O/H/L/C bar for say every second?
Is this data not available to ZT server?

We will keep spicing this up for you in the next few days..
Thanks for the update. I understand this is beta version.

Here are some feedbacks ..

(1) P&L Report does not work in F&O and Commodity. Equity P/L report is improper (this only shows tax charges ..no stocks are shown)

(2) Export to other format pdf/excel is required.

(3) security is not strong. https and you may using mobile OTP kind of security along with user id and password.

Thanks for the update - keep going.

Z,

Is there any minimum trading fund requirement for margin against shares facility?

Can the whole process be done online? (I have lakhs worth shares in my local broker's CDSL demat account, I have its username password etc. They are shares of highly liquid companies & in profit and I want to use them for margin)

Thanks

It is not possible to capture every trade that happens on the exchange, not possible by any trading system in India atleast, there will always be some spillover and we get a lot of queries on this. There is no way possible to have OHLC for 1 sec, it will be available on ZT but sharing data of OHLC of 1 sec will slow down the system both at your end and our end because even the internet connectivity in India can't handle such loads, this is usually called buffering.

When we get to those times when we are all on 20mbps connections, probably such a thing would be viable.

Punter,

You will have to first transfer the shares from your other CDSL to the demat account that you hold with us. Once you have it transferred, you just need to send an email to [email protected], and by end of day it will be pledged.

Since this is directly pledged at NSE, the funds that is released has no cost to it, and you can use it trade f&O for as long as you wish as long as you make good of any MTM losses if it happens..
