I know there were a lot of issues over last 1 month and our support team has been pushed hard. If that wasn't enough, Nithin ran the biggest prank in any office, with fake police raid, and scaring the **** of everyone at the Zerodha support office..

It is not possible to capture every trade that happens on the exchange, not possible by any trading system in India atleast, there will always be some spillover and we get a lot of queries on this. There is no way possible to have OHLC for 1 sec, it will be available on ZT but sharing data of OHLC of 1 sec will slow down the system both at your end and our end because even the internet connectivity in India can't handle such loads, this is usually called buffering.

When we get to those times when we are all on 20mbps connections, probably such a thing would be viable.

1 sec was just random. It could be 5 sec / 10 sec / 1minute bar.

You could for example show the inaccurate data in real time and overwrite it with more accurate data at end of say one minute bar.

I dont think even 1 second bar will need 20mbps connection. This is just text stream and not a multimedia stream. Latency / packet drops might be an issue but i think 1 min accurate bars should be manageable.

Doesnt matter what others do. I understand this is not tick data but we should expect 1 min bars, which is your least resolution in charts, to be as accurate as the data available at server.

Please consider this in your next ZT ( or for its future updates )
I dont think its asking for much ( 1 min accurate bars updated say the end of 1min )
Better data => More + points over low cost competition.
