Dear Zerodha,

What will be the margin policy on Budget Day 10 May 2014 ?

Is it possible to find out the freak trades which happen way beyond the normal range of the script. That way I can delete those from my chart to ensure one abnormal trade does not affect my charts? For eg yesterday the first five minute bar of USDINR opened at 60.1475, showed a high of 60.7 and then closed at 60.205. Is there some way I can find out the true high value after deleting this 60.7 ?

I mostly trade using MIS order type , but when I click a buy or sell order , order type is defaulted to NRML. How can I change to order type to MIS by default ? I used user settings and changed order type to MIS and apply but still it always NRML.

Did you change this setting for all exchanges or particular exchange ?
Do it for the exchange required to you.

go to Preference>user setting>order.

There below "Exchange Specific Setting" choose Exchange Segment>>like NFO.

There choose Product Type-MIS.

Then apply ok.

Yes there have been delays in demat account opening, especially because of our DP partners ILFS

Should have notified customer about delay...
This not good sign. For past one month you guys can't fix demat account opening problem.
Rather fixing/Replying to customers about issue,your having promoting zerodha other ventures here....

I had not selected the exchange previously. I wanted it for Fno so selected it and now its MIS order. :thumb:

I got call from Zerodha
They informed me why it was getting delayed.That is what i was waiting to know status.

Dear Zerodha,

Today uninstalled previous version of ZT and installed latest ZT 3.11.2.1 on Windows 7. When I launch ZT I am getting series of errors :
1. Log file open error , I clicked ok then
2. Did not detect usersetting.ini
3. Failed to open mpic config file
4. Failed to create directory
5. Failed to open file
After clicking ok many times I get to login screen and when I enter User Id and then password ZT crashes and have to close the app.
Uninstalled and reinstalled again same problem.

It works fine on windows XP sp 3 but not on Windows 7.
Please help solve the issue.

Go to old version..
New version of ZT is worst and nothing any speciality except (HOPELESS & WORTH LESS) Bracket Order facility. It is even not a facility but a desister for retail trader...
