is it buy + sell = 40
or
buy + sell+sell = 60?

trying first time :D
its 60. If a partial quantity is executed at one price and remaining quantity at another price, that will be counted as second order.

In simple terms, if you modify an order after partial completion, it will be deemed as new order.

Every body wants to make billions out of market and no body want to invest in decent Data source and charting software. NEST as a order punching software is decent enough, problem lies wit NEST PLUS, once you have install it to use charts and other stuff, NEST go crazy wit all the bugs... I had a bad experience so plz do not install NEST PLUS and NEST will serve its purpose well.

Let me correct this, if you modify an order the order number doesn't get changed and hence no extra brokerage paid.

So,

1. If you buy 2 lots and sell 1 lot in order and another in a separate order, that is 20+20+20.

2. If you buy 2 lots and place 1 selling order for 2 lots. 1 lot gets executed and you modify the remaining 1 pending to another price. The order number remains the same, and hence nothing extra charged.
