hi i have following query about brokerage,following eg is of copperm (commodity), 5min candle :



as mentioned in pic i started shorting my position from candle 1 as follows:
candle 1 :
short position at 433.40 LOT =1
candle 2 :
short position at 432.95 LOT =1
candle 3 :
short position at 432.65 LOT =1
candle 4 :
short position at 432.40 LOT =1

total lot = 4
avg rate = 432.85

finally at candle 5 i squaredoff my all position i.e all 4 lots at 432.10

so what would be my brokerage:

i hope u got it what i want to know

To get a CP code, you need to get in touch with a Professional clearing member. You can let us know if you wish to have ILFS as your CP, we can get them in touch with you..

MCX trading not allowed for NRI/OCI...

When using a CP, your funds will be sitting with the custodian and only the trade execution will happen with us. Clearing members might have a minimum amount criteria for custodial accounts.. There will be also additional custodial charges for the same. We could help you get the lowest custodial rates through ILFS..

Do send an email to [email protected] with your contact details and Sachin in the subject.. Will get someone from ILFS to get in touch with you..

Now this is pretty bad and creates avoidable worries. Today, I squared off one of my Minifty position in a loss, my order got completed (I am 100 percent sure it does) few minutes later. But so far I have neither received any contract note, or anything which confirms this trade, from Zerodha via email, and worse, Nor I am able to see this successfully completed order in the back-office - I have checked every thing in the back-office, but the mention of that order is no-where!

This besides being bizarre, creates misdoubts about the filled order and Zerodha's reliability. Zerodha are you facing some problem?

Is anyone else facing exactly the same problem? Any guess, what would have happened to my order, and where can I find it!?

Punter today is expiry for currency day for currency and hence we receive the trade files a little late.. You will receive it in a little while, the process is running right now.. There are 3 days in a month when contract note will typically be sent late, expiry of global indices, expiry of f&o and expiry of currency.. So nothing to worry..

Copper mini is around a 1lk Rs contract, our brokerage is 0.01% or Rs 20 whichever is lower per executed order..

In the example you have given, for the first 4 orders, you would pay around Rs 40( 10 +10+10+10) and the 5th order where you are exiting all 4lots, you pay only Rs 20.. Together Rs 60.. Cheers..

I want to open trading account in zerodha. So I sent all necessary document sand form to your address. Mr. Bosco is looking after my application. But today i have been told that they haven't received my documents. But Bluedart tracking clearly shows that it is received at your place. I have also provided AWB number to Bosco and Manjunath.

Requst you to please help immediately, also make sure that my documents not misused by anyone...:mad:

through which platform you squared off ?

as usual today I also faced "user not logged in/target error" kind of error when I placed order in ZT terminal right after login..

did you check status in order book / trade book during trading hours ?

I used ZT for squaring off. I know it squared off successfully because I saw the order as "completed" in order book during the trading hours. As I wrote, "the order completed few minutes later." So I must have seen it.

As regarding the problem, I was facing some problem earlier probably because I was not selecting the position type (long/short) in F11 admin window. It was showing "zero trade squared off (something like that)" when I was trying to square off from there. I noticed my mistake after Zerodha/Sachin replied to my question here.

Besides that, I have never faced any problem with ZT. It is a very smooth platform. Just needs to have some more features.

And yes, if you start the ZT without the internet connection, it will give you engine failed or like that error.

did you check status in order book / trade book during trading hours ?
If I did not, how would I be so sure about the status of my order :)

Many thanks for the reply. Will keep this information in mind from now on.

I was so concerned that I was busy Googling and reading posts in forums about the reason for getting any information from your broker for the successfully completed order. Your post has relaxed my anxiety. Hope by tomorrow I will get the information regarding my order. :)
