Looking not at just this, but a number of posts on other "Discount Broker" threads, I somehow get a feeling that somebody who have been greatly affected by this discount broking industry (maybe a sub broker of a full service trading firm or one of their employees) has creeped in on these threads!
He has been going out of the way to discredit them, and for those ones who have a strong base, trying to scare customers / potential ones away
Just my feeling, might be wrong

got my account opened. How to transfer fund to Commodity a/c ?

Is it possible to transfer fund to Commodity a/c by NEFT ? I don't find NEFT fund transfer details to Commodity a/c in your blog/site.

Can you please post the details or post a link where I could find the details.
I have sent you a PM. You will get the bank account details there for Zerodha Commo.

You could also get the same from http://www.zerodha.com/funds-transfer

You can also payin funds from Zerodha trader itself through Netbanking. That will cost you Rs.9/- per transfer.

Hi
Zerodha,

Margin Statement format has been changed. I'm receiving differently formatted Margin Statement now. Would like to ask few queries on this.

I don't see T Day bill in this new format . How do I check daily bill/MTM loss/gain then ?

Also another issue is , I see you are not blocking any Exposure Margin here..why ? You are blocking only SPAN margin + Additional Margin Required by your RMS ....whereas In SPAN file , there is always a blockage for Exposure Margin ...why you leave this column blank in the Statement ?

Finally , Could you please respond to the queries put in the screenshot ?

Zerodha,

I'm opening commodity trading a/c with you . Can you please tell apart from brokerages and other trading charges , is there any sale tax / vat /any other tax we need to pay separately to Govt ?
Yes, you have to pay VAT etc., but only if you take delivery of the commodity against the contract you are holding, but if you cash settle, then no VAT etc is payable.
