In my view Zerodha Trader in your desktop does not recognizing the active internet connection like some softwares.

I have already tried deleting folder and running as administrator....
yes the INT button is not glowing green ..(interactive engine disconnected) (as in the picture above...while BRD button is green(broadcast engine is connected)...this is the problem..it was ok till 11 am , but not working after 1 pm......why this interactive engine is disconnected is the problem..

What is Zerodha's response to this ?? Did you call them ? Maybe they can look at it through Teamviewer and find a solution.

Since You said it worked before.
ZT had written some crash error in its registy.
You must remove the registry entry of ZT by uninstalling it through Tuneup Utilities or Your Uninstaller or some other uninstallers.
If possible just reinstall OS .
It is the easiest way in this crucial situation.

You think it is not working after 11 am.
But I guess It is the error in the registry because of the ZT crash while exit.

I checked in control panel , there showing nest3 installed on date as "04-02-2000"...this is clearly false.....wats this...

I am an existing client of Zerodha and i am doing trading in equity, FnO and CDS segments of NSE. Today my account for MCX was opened in Zerodha. Strangely i have been assigned same backoffice user id but for zerodha trader i have been provided with separate user id.

So if i want to do intraday trading together in NSE and MCX, i can not do as i will have to repeatedly login and logout from different ids. Despite repeated requests i have been assigned different IDs for MCX and NSE.

Go to LIC office in your place, show them the policies and get the information about surrender value (as on date) etc. Ideally you need to be equipped with photocopies of these policies, your bank account passbook (where the money will be ECS) and revenue stamp of 1 Re.

Anyway,...Do you know how do they calculate how much money will be credited ? I am asking because I don't want to reedeem on a day when NAV is lowest ....So I'm actually not sure when I should got to LIC office and redeem it.....

how the calculations are done ? is it difference of NAV x number of years ? or whats the approximate formula (if any)

Hi Aman,
There must be some confusion,

If you are using NOW for trading equity then it is possible that you might have 2 different id's , 1 for NOW and 1 for Zerodha trader.

You need to put a request to migrate your equity trading account to ZT, then you will have everything on one platform.

IF that is not the case, send an email to [email protected] with your client id and will have it fixed tomorrow first thing... Put Attention Sachin in the subject line..

Can someone tell me what is so special about mcx-sx exchange. I checked their website , all i see is currencies.

The same is trading on NSE also.

So what is all this fuss about MCX-SX ?
