WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the stamp duty depended on which state the broker was registered in. NOT where the offices were.

SO this means that the day you open an office in mumbai, then we would have to pay 200 per crore, right?

PLUS your 490/ crore of transaction charges.

That will lead to an EXODUS of clients, mark my words.

That would make you grossly expensive compared to other discount brokers

Reposting for attention

A query, the reply of which I could not find on your website ...........

What is the overall procedure of withdrawing the funds from Zerodha (for every segment separately), i.e. which time should one apply, when will it be transferred to banks, if next day is saturday or holiday, then what ......... etc

Please clarify in detail and also please make a page on your website with this information

Hoping to hear some words from you .............

PS : Asking this because once I withdrew from MCX at 09.16 AM and then contacted to your support staff, he told me that ONLY before 9 AM if applied for withdrawal, then it is processed the same day and money will reflect in our bank accounts at noon, but I don't know the "timings" for withdrawal from NSE segment AND ALSO, what if next day is saturday or a holiday (both for NSE & MCX). Your reply will clear doubts upon this.
Same As Above Post ......... :D:)

Point noted, we are putting up a blog on this by next week..

But generally guideline is to put before 7.30pm for equity and before 9am for commodities.. If hdfc is your account, comes same day for all other banks the next day...

Processed only from monday to friday..
