Hi,

Say, I have sold options in OOM and it's gonna expire today. Which is more profitable ?

1. Squaring off before EOD.
2. Leaving it to expire.

It depends on you, if you intend to take fresh position for next expiry you will have to square off to get the margins released..

If you don't intend to, just let it expire, you won't have to pay the Rs 20 brokerage then.. ;)..

Since STT was introduced, as a trader every budget I used to wait for STT to be reduced.. Never happened, finally some good news for all equity derivatives traders..

CTT hmmm.. Was waiting to happen especially with the tone in which FM was speaking over last few months about non delivery transactions on commodity exchanges..

Guys, leverages back to normal...
Zerodha, why don't you provide intraday leverage on currency futures ? There is at least 1 other broker on this forum who provides it. I don't see why there should be discrimination for currency futures, when it is provided for NFO.

Good News...Now STT reduce from 51 to 30 per lot of NIFTY(@6000), but now Transaction charges of Zerodha is equal to STT(Or higher if we add service tax). I think now time to reduce Transaction Charges.....presently I am trading in Option only at Zerodha due to more costly to future.....So come on Zerodha, lets reduce some transaction charges form 1 April. Thanks
