Futures,

I don't think have ignored any question, when the same thing is asked over and over, especially in the way this forum is designed, you will probably not go back and check every answer I have given..

About transaction costs, firstly futures today contribute to less 15% of the exchange volumes, our option transaction charges are almost same and even if there is a difference it is small enough to not matter.. About futures,it is a constraint that we cannot lower, but as our clients you do get the stamp duty benefit which makes up for the difference..There is logic behind everything and unfortunately not everything can be shared on a public forum...

About html5, as I have mentioned it is ready for equity, if you are a client of ours who is enabled only in equity segment, send us a request and we will have the html 5 web version enabled for you.. Send the email to [email protected], if you also have a commodity account, you will have to wait a bit longer..

About Mobile, we have taken all the feedback and you should be able to see a much improved version soon.. Also about mobile, I have seen in a lot of cases where the problems were because of non compatible versions of OS, an upgrade in OS would fix those.. Will be the first one to give you all a shout as soon as it is ready.. I might sound cheesy, but you doing business with us is more important to us than anyone else in the world... ;)..
Thanks for the reply. I don't want to rock boats here but i can go back and show you posts about transaction costs for which there was no reply..i understand that the 'transaction costs' posts get buried in the deluge of other posts...

Zerodha -I have repeatedly said that everyone understands that you are running business and not charity..so, if you cannot reveal why your transactions costs are really high compared to another broker, i respect that...(but if my memory serves me right, i believe this is the first time you have come out and said that you cannot reveal the reasons)..

Nevertheless, thanks for being in this forum and answering ppl's queries..great gesture !!

One Reason must be to make good profits from transaction charges. Hence they dont want to reveal it :rofl:

yes. Zerodha Plz post what are the before and after STT and CTT and on all segments equity/equty derivatives/options/commodity.
But i think it will be applicable from April 1st.
But please clarify on all these.

pardon my ignorance but could someone tell me what is being reported in the margin statement? What is it talking about? Is the definition of margin here the same as I understand the margin that Zerodha gives as leverage?

Thanks.
