If you can visit our website zerodha , under trading and trade NOW, you can see an user manual at the right bottom of the page... The user manual has snapshots and other details....

If anyone facing freezing of marketwatch on the now 1.5 version, here is the fix...

1. If you login to our website after 12pm today, you will see a folder called new ini file... copy this file and place it on your desktop...

2. Right click on the NOW icon, click on properties, click on open file.....

3. copy the ini file on your desktop and paste it in this file...

4. you should be prompted for replace all... Say yes...

This should work...

Is it chargeable to get alerts on mobile ?
Is alerts can be set for price triggers only ?
Or it is possible to set for technical indicators also ? Like if I wish to alert me if price goes above / below a particular MA / RSI / etc ?

I guess you meant was

1. Copy ini file

2. If you have windows xp open C:\Program Files\NOW and open that folder (sorry don't know folder for mac/vista/W7/linux etc)

3. Copy ini file and paste in that folder.

People might click NOW icon on desktop and search for open file since you mentioned desktop and right click simultaneously and may get confused.

Alerts possible on only triggers not possible on indicators...

Mobile alerts not available presently, only email and sound alerts....

this must have been discussed like a zillion times already on this thread... ... in brief:

If idea is to trade f&o only then you can open just a trading account with us.
if idea is to do cash(delivery) and f&o, you need to open demat and trading...

account opening: trading : Rs 300, demat cum trading : Rs 600
Annual maintenance: Rs 0 for trading , Rs 400 for demat..

Procedure: We can either courier you the forms or else you can print our forms... Leave us your name and number on [email protected] , will give you a buzz and explain more...
