I guess you meant was

1. Copy ini file

2. If you have windows xp open C:\Program Files\NOW and open that folder (sorry don't know folder for mac/vista/W7/linux etc)

3. Copy ini file and paste in that folder.

4. you should be prompted for replace all... Say yes...

People might click NOW icon on desktop and search for open file since you mentioned desktop and right click simultaneously and may get confused.

Pasted the new ini file as explained above. Still getting the same problem. Lost 10 points today because the system froze up. Infact this is worse than before. NOW is getting disconnected repeatedly. I am going back to my old ini file. Luckily I kept a copy of it.

From what I understood reading nse site is if we sell shares worth 10k and buy lbee worth 10k than we can use money to buy lbees and thereby use the pay-out period to earn bank rate (hardly matters for small traders) and since charges waived off/pay out wont go to ilfs/you instead will be set off against lbee buy so how can we save money? just getting bank rates or by saving dp charges too?

further will there be brokerage on lbees buy and sell? in nutshell please elaborate how a small investor can benefit from this.

it can be used to square off your trades as mentioned on the NSE website. However, I invest in Liquid BeES as part of my debt allocation for short term funds. If the brokerage and DP charges are waived off, its the most Liquid LIQUID Fund

Of course, there are other options like Floating rate funds and all but within the debt space, this is a good bet for short term liquid allocation.

I got my account activated 15 days ago, and today I transferred funds to my trading account and I will start trading from next Monday. Wish me good luck

Earlier, I used to do trading on RKG ODIN and IIFL TT, for which I installed few requisite files, viz, dot net 2, dot net framework3.5 with SP1 & SP2 and some others. These files might be consuming space and I think I may uninstall them now as I won't use ODIN and IIFLTT.

I wanna ask whether NOW also requires any such softwares / files for smooth operations, if yes, then please let me know.

None of those things you mentioned are required... Just java on your system will work fine...

That's not nice. You should join the league of those who don't charge any brokerage. The volumes in this are huge but brokerage makes it un attractive compared to Liquid Funds.

I sent an email regarding unblocking me to india @ zerodha. com, support @ nowonline. in. Please let me know how long it will take for unblocking? Kindly arrange it to be done at the earliest as i have to set so many things on NOW on Saturday / Sunday.
