Hi Sachin... what is the progress on your alliance with the charting sofware piece?? sometime back you had indicated that you are workin on something so that we all would a charting software at cheaper rates.. would appreciate your reply.... i am concerned about it as i need to have my IIFL TT open for charting along with NOW and this is causing NOW to hang every now and then..
A few reliable vendors have been finalized.. The problem we have now is that these guys don't want it to give under their brand... If we give it at cheaper rates, they might end up loosing all their clients who will open accounts through us to access their software... A valid business concern for them... What we are trying to do now is, we are trying to provide the data services ourselves on any good open source charting tool like amibroker etc...

This is the next important thing that is on our mind, we are testing it,if it works consistently, this will be ideal...

Cheers..

@zerodhaonline

Can you tell me about the margins you are blocking for future trades

Are you giving the margin against the Securities held in Demat account
Intraday futures: 50% of Span margin: around 9800 for Nifty futures
Overnight futures: SPAN+ Exposure: Aroudn 27000 for nifty futures

Same rule for stock futures also...

Margin against securities will be given but only for intraday f&o trades....

Cheers...

Probably a silly question. But I am unable to find where I can see my remaining balance amount that I can use to trade intraday in the NOW desktop software?
Secondly, Day-wise shows the transactions/net position for the day. Net-wise - does this include Day-wise as well?

Surveillance- RMS limits- View limits .... Will show you your balance and used amount.... YOu can also right click on that and click reposition columns... You can add whichever subsections that you wish to...

Netwise will show including your day position... your total net position...
