I belive at present one can trade only at NSE through Zerodha...!!!

Can you please let us know ....Is there a plan in near future to include trading at BSE also...? Also can we trade in comodity, currency, mutualfunds and IPO online...? what is the plan in near future to introduce those features... ?

On serious note we will be able to trade goats, sheep, dogs and cats once we have a depository having Demat Accounts for keeping them . Then we can swing trade goats,position trade sheep, daytrade cats.....combinations only restricted by our imagination......

For complete transaction (BUY+SELL) you require around 3 points on
averate on NIFTY at present level of (5500).

If you trade only 1 lot throughout the day it comes to around 3 points, but if 1 lot is traded multiple times it comes to around 2.5 points...the reason being stamp duty is a max of Rs 50 with us....

It varies with us based on if you are taking for intraday or overnight... But I had given an example a few days back, have a look:

Margin requirement for writing options(Nifty@5500)
Considering today when markets were pretty volatile

Intraday: 5300PE(6393), 5400PE(6783), 5500PE(7354), 5600PE(8212)
5500CE(7941), 5600CE(7037), 5700CE(6438), 5800CE(6102)

Overnight:5300PE(18213), 5400PE(19343), 5500PE(20990), 5600PE(23460)

Hi,

BSE is not something we are looking at... commodity approval is pending from FMC... Mutual funds should be available by May... online IPO is being updated on NOW, as soon as it happens it will be available, in couple of months... Currency also should be available with commodities...

RBI has given permission for Currency Trading (Dollar-Rupee pair), not sure
of FOREX.In how months ,you are likely to start ,currency trading?
