Hi Irich,
You can have as much demat accounts as you wish.. But the fact is, you should not have more than one demat with the same broker.

I have a Trading and Demat Account with ICICI Direct.

I want to open one Trading and Demat Account with Zerodha.

Do I have to close the Account with ICICI Direct
before opening Account with Zerodha, Or can I keep both
Accounts.

As already mentioned above, 1 person can have as many demat and trading accounts as he wishes... But the thing you need to keep in mind is that you can't open 2 accounts with the same broker... If you have an icici demat, you can't go back to icici and open another account....but you can come to Zerodha and open another account.... ... Cheers...
