Just checked NOW on a friends machine via teamviewer. Not as heavy on the machine as people make it out to be. Also, the news ticker was not active. So, maybe that why its light? Also, it was on teamviewer, and thus with a lag, still, it was keeping up with PIB. and had more ticks per minute than PIB. Am satisfied overall with the market watch.... Will have to check execution speed, though I am sure that it would be good too.

Was scared to install it on my machine, as am wary of installing anything on my machine which I may not use. The machine that it was on was an intel aton netbook with 1 gb ram. A nominal config.

It is pretty light on the system and super fast, I have the same thing about installing software on the machine.... But it is pretty light and uninstalling is super quick... Cheers...

Zerodha is the only brokerage house in the world, which add MTM over bought options......:clapping::clapping:..........everbody knows you can not lose more than option premium......
Let you have 10 K in your account, you bot options worth 6K , now if total loss is 4K, they calculate 6k bot + 4k MTM = total 10 K, now you cant buy anything......everbody knows you cant lose more than 6k.......

Will get someone to call you about this... If something like this happens, call us immediately, it will take us a second to fix it.... Can you leave your client id on [email protected]

and I doubt they add profits to margin, I mean over 10K if you made profits of 2k, your total margin should be 12k, that day itself.......

With Zerodha, I never faced anything like that. I used complete margin by buying options step by step. And, I am not sure, but I think I used my intraday profit to buy more, after squaring off the positions.

Did you understand , what I wrote...?.......had your positions were in loss at that time...?...

occasionally it takes a long time for the positions to get updated.........once i log in....after 3-4 min it get updated,,...may be even longer.......this does not happen all the time........not a internet related issue.......some problem with the software

Zerodha, I also faced this problem twice in past 3 months. I immediately called Bangalore and the problem was resolved in a min but I suggest you look at this problem seriously. I was told last time that new NOW might solve it and hence I am waiting for it.
Also another request I have been making is to change the port number of backoffice to standard port (80/8080) as non-standard ports are mostly blocked in enterprises due to which I am not able request withdrawal the same date when I require money.

Overall, I am fully satisfied with your service and enjoying NOW platform . Thanks for providing such a magnificent service and hope it will not degrade with time (as Options value does ).

I am also a satisfied customer of zerodha and NSE NOW superfast....:thumb:....but the blocking of margin cost me a very good trade on expiry day... thats why lost temper..........
