Whether the change in brokerage structure applicable to Options also.. If yes.. then what would be current brokerage for only 1 lot (50qty) Nifty CE of 5000 strike price... bought @100 .. sold @ 101...

earlier it was...

now, is it going to be something like that...??
Oh my, brokerage of Rs.1.01/- for an option, & that too for both sides! :D

Unfortunately for you though, no such luck as yet, the brokerage will be as per the whole contract's value, NOT just the premium-amount so unless NIFTY falls below 4000, the figures in the former picture will remain more or less as they are :p

From today, for all segments NSE-Equity, Derivatives and Currency, no more plan A or plan B. Just one plan, either (0.01% or Rs 20)/executed order, whichever is lower. Simplifying Broking... Happy Trading....
Dear Sachin, Thanks again, I hope the new plan (Just One Plan) surely beneficial for all traders, specially small traders. I hope now Zerodha will think also about high volume traders (No new plan, same plan), I sent email but unable to received your call.

Dear Zerodha Do you have new brokerage calculator? In kerala most of the brokers wont believe or accept such news I am not trading with them but whenever i get a chance to ______ i will try to tease them. I am not joking those who trade from kerala knows better.

All of a sudden it seems that brokerage being charged by Zerodha is on the higher side. They need to do some serious thinking to bring brokerage on options to reasonable levels. :D

It was for nothing that someone called you freebie !

Looks like I will have to stop trading with RK because of their sluggish ODIN Diet. The NF quotes freeze up sometimes, makes it look like Nifty is not going anywhere, and when you press Buy or Sell suddenly they refresh and show that they are 10 or 15 points away. (I suspect the quotes are delayed too). Its quite frustrating. Their transaction costs are quite low though, going to miss that.

Open an account with Zerodha for Rs.300 (one time cost) and enjoy the fast
quotes for ever!
