Dear Friends,

After the clarification given by Zerodha regarding the charges, below is the link for downloading excel file with minimum of 0.01 % or Rs 20/- as brokerage along with stamp duty and sebi charges.

http://www. 4shared. com/document/zVZqLcRA/Zerodha_Brokerage_Calculator-w.html

Remove spaces before and after 4shared.

Unless one trades in penny stocks, the brokerage is invariably Rs 20/- on both sides as it is almost always less than 0.01% of the turnover.

For NF 1 lot break even is 3.35 points

For Mini NF 1 lot the break even is 3.6 points

Hope you find the brokerage calculator useful.

Enjoy,
CArnot

I will be opening an account with Zerodha in 2-3 days. The account opening form which Zerodha has mailed me consists of 2 plans - A & B.

One plan has Rs 20 brokerage for everything, and another has .01% for Intraday & .1% for delivery of shares, whereas Rs 20 for options and futures.

Here you people are talking about minimum of the two, i.e. .01% or Rs 20. Which plan is this?

Nifty Spot Live Chart

NOW doesn't have a provision to put NIFTY Spot in the market watch. It has to
be placed in a dialogue box, and the values are updated there.

And NOW doesn't have charting facility - so I can't get NIFTY Spot live chart.

Interface softwares, which pick up the data from NOW and put it in Amibroker
can not pick up the data of NIFTY Spot from NOW, because it is not there in
Market Watchlist. So, I can't get NIFTY Spot chart, even though I pay some
amount of money to a third party software.

In effect, there is no way to look at a live NIFTY Spot chart, in spite of having
NOW and a third party software.

Am I correct, Zerodha? Isn't it something weird?
