.. which means you are able to view the charts on your tablet. It's great,
to that extent.

If mobile version of NOW is able to show up the charts, what's wrong with
Windows version of NOW? Is Windows not supposed to be more robust?
Dear Murthy,

yes, mobile ver of NOW seems to be simple & really good. Infact, we can switch the chart to candlestic, line, bar & area.
Only prob for me is not able to change it to different timeframes like 3minsor 5mins etc.

Tried with Airtel 2g internet &seems to be fast. :)

One probable work-around, as far as equity stocks are concerned is you can
access google charts, which are really real-time charts, on par with NOW quotes.

But in the case of Futures/Options, there are no options!

can someone tell me if zerodha supports bracket orders or OCO?.

I m unable to find a single Indian broker who supports this. Why Indian brokers cannot provide the most basic features for trading. Indian brokers software are so outdated and inefficient , that i am now looking at Forex brokers and trade CFDs.

When will Indian brokers wake up?. They have no idea how far they are behind.

I was hoping zerodha would take the lead , but from what i see they use the provide the same features are other brokers , except for the brokerage , which is nice.

The issue is not with the softwares, it is with the exchange... NSE doesn't support bracket orders presently for retail terminals... We can use the same facility on the proprietary trading terminals after exchange permissions...

This clearly means that NSE is not trader friendly. But this still does not excuse the softwares provided by the brokers. Absolutely laggy and difficult User interfaces. Why don't we switch to MT4?.

Also evident from this forum , that charting provided by indian brokers is the worst i have seen. I am forced to either buy to good charting package or look for alternatives.

what is your take on that Zerodha?

I will be the first to join of Zerodha if you provide MT4 for charting and trading

Infact every trader here would join you, just do a poll.:)

Zerodha what is the problem with charts on Now?

Why you are not working on it ..... as it is the most important thing for day trader?

Without charts can't go n trade blindly.

Guys plz....understand...
They cant do anything with NOW....now is nse property ....only NSE and its developer can do something....better ....email this NOW team instead of bashing Zerodha...

MT4 ...this restricted because of NSE and SEBI....better write them instead coming here and bashing the broker...

You people are asking things which is not in the hand of brokers...

I think zerodha somewhere said that charting will be available when they will launch NEST....

If registered Nest [Nest Plus with 125/month] Subscribers get only 7 days of Intraday Charts, it would not help at all. Then, Zerodha must consider alternate charting tools which can provide at least 30DAY INTRADAY CHARTS.
If they can provide a good charting tool, automatically volume & frequency of trading would increase; hence their earning through brokerages. :)
Regards.
