Fellow Traders, today there were a few problems with connectivity to the NSE servers in the morning. This was brought about by a temporary failure of Bharti's broadband network. Zerodha and the NOW team worked in coordination with Bharti to resolve this. We regret any inconvenience caused.

We are very happy to inform you that all versions of NOW are working. It's Fast and Furious again.

Any updates on the margin used for different options strategies? Is there any work happening to reduce margins for hedged positions like butterfly, etc.

As of now you have to pay the full margin as per PC SPAN for each leg of your Options trade. The only strategy which has a margin benefit is a Calendar Spread. And of course, if you trade on an intraday basis you need to submit only 40% of the total margin prescribed by the Exchange.

Zerodha uses NSE's margin rules and NSE's NOW, so any change in margin requirements should come directly from the Exchange.

Our airtel broadband too was facing problem...yesterday ...after resume.....ping and consistency has vanished...

I dont understand how come it has affected mobile services too...

Guys, we're waiting just as eagerly as you are to get the commodity trading platform started. There are some delays which are not at all in our control, so there's nothing much we can do about it from here.
So we've decided to just have a good time for Christmas and New Year instead. I'm sure our platform will be ready for you guys by the beginning of next year.

But for Team Zerodha an apt new year's resolution would be:

"going forward...never promise/commit to anything [charts, commodity, stock margin....] whose delivery timeline is beyond control"
