I uninstalled the old version of NOW and installed new version. After installation of NOW 1.6, it is taking over 40 minutes to login in to NOW.
I am on an Airtel 4 mbps broadband connection. I have tested on a MTNL 512 kbps connection also. I have tested on 2 different PCs. I believe that scrip master files on start up are downloading at ultra slow speed. And I also get the following error message (dialog box)"
"NestTraderAutoInstaller can not start due to errorcode 740"
What is this error code about?
Can someone from Zerodha take a look at this problem?

Everyone at Zerodha says a big thank you to the trading community for answering most user queries while we were away for a small one. We hope this New Year is better than the best you've had! We have looked through the pages and answered some of your queries now, but if any of you feel we've not looked at your query you can always send us an email to [email protected] or you can ask on the forum again.
@everyone - The new version of NOW is a major improvement over last version, especially when it comes to charting. This tool is as new to us as it is to you, so getting more information on the product will take a few days. For now, you can relax as it is just a beta version for testing. You can go to our website's downloads page and download the latest NOW trading terminal which has NEST Plus preinstalled. We are not sure if NEST Plus is supported on XP as yet, but all info will be out very soon.
Also, for the general queries while we've been away: We know it would be awesome if there was an option for instant upgrades on NOW without human intervention, better charting tools, lower costs, easier trading strategies, the fairy's magic wand, etc... Let's make those our wishes for the New Year.
@timepass - The atom payment gateway works on any standard Windows configuration. If the problem still persists, it could be due to some internal changes in your system. You may have to reformat your computer or you can do the regular NEFT transfers from your bank until the browser issues are resolved at our end.I would like to believe if it works for almost everyone, it should work for you.
@sbali1976 - For the problem you mention about an old version of NOW opening even after you've installed the new version, you just need to uninstall the old version (go to add/remove programs) and then reinstall the new version. It'll work like a charm.
@athreya - Check your email. We've sent you simple instructions on account opening.
@NANDAMAD - Unfortunately, we can't do much to help you install NEST Plus until you have the required system resources.
@vince_k - Write to [email protected] with your queries about opening an NRI account and all details will be emailed to you.
@startrade - the error code that you mention needs to be sent to the programmers so that they can look at it and provide a solution. Please send us a screenshot of the error. Ideally, if you have registered your Client ID on the NEST Plus registration site, the plugin should automatically start up.

Hi Hari/Sachin, formatting the PC is no big deal for me (I am a long-time computer professional).
I did mention that the problem was discussed with your staff and apparently they have been in touch with the Atom people. I had posted it here just to know whether anyone else had noticed it. Well, the problem continues, and I retried it after reading your response (as is visible in the date/time stamp on bottom right of the attached image).
I did use NEFT option on Friday evening, and so far the money hasn't been credited to my account ...

Just send us an email to [email protected] and we'll send you a list of mobiles that run the NSE Mobile app. Generally, it works very well on iPhone & iPad, BlackBerry devices, and also on most Android devices. It does work on quite a few other Java enabled phones but support is very limited.
