Zerodha, kndly plz tell me how much Stamp duty u charge for 1 crore turnover on cash segment...you are not mentioning on ur brokerage calculator...thx....:thumb:

Hi Desi, it is mentioned on the brokerage calculator separately... it is 0.01% of the turnover or Rs 50 whichever is lower.. If the turnover is 1 cr, you pay only Rs 50...

Hi zerodha jee any update on margin against stocks because even the new broker on the forum says his margin against stocks will be up and running in 2 months .They also have Dp with Ilfs .You are already telling us from last 1 year that it will be up soon

I dont mean to comapre you people but just saying that its been enough of delay and my yearly susbcription at RELIGARE ends in Feb and if your system is not up and running .

Than again i will have to pay advance brokerge for my two accounts to them out of which i was hoping to shift one to ZERODHA

I just want to sell options on Stocks i already have so no risk involved its just that u need to provide me real time no hassels margin against it Its is ultra basic for a client to ask for

Has anyone else noticed that the refresh time is now 2 sec(avg) on NOW 1.6.0.0 and no longer 1 sec as it used to be on the earlier version,Zerodha please advice.

Query resolved,spoke to NOW-02226567700,was adviced that as i was using WIN 7 ,i would have to login as admin by right clicking on the NOW icon and before you do that right click on NOW icon-click on properties-click on open location file-delete file by name dialogpos.

NEST chart is still a mess.

intraday candles still messed up. double candle appear on 1 min.
chart windows inside NOW ...making it difficult to view and adjust window.
can open only at time.
If nest had an option to export data ...it would have been good....

needs many updates....for stable version.

Zerodha. Blackberry

I am not able to connect NSENOW from my blackberry 9300. I am in BIS plan of Idea and do not have APN access. The NSE help desk could not understand my problem. Please help.
Note: I can access NSE-NOW with wify from my Blackberry 9300.

We can drag the charts outside the terminal and arrange them by holding the upper border of the charts.....I am viewing 4 charts at a time

1)I tried that but the chart only moves within the NOW terminal, but there is no pop out option.
2) I tried by locking one scrip and yes, you can view more charts that way, BUT all in same window (of course u can tile/cascade and maximize one at a time but can't get them out of the terminal window)
3) only the market watch window can be popped out by right click and choosing the option

i've previously used Nest Trader with other broker for 2 years, the software is bad for charts. as you said double candles in 1 min, in 5 min tf you get 1 min candles after few minutes, and other silly problems. 5 months back they introduced new timeframes like 5, 15, 30 min but the charts still sucked. omnesys need to fire their dumb programmers and hire some quality talent.
