Re: Charting by Zerodha...

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie to traderji as well as to trading. Would open my trading account soon and was researching on which would be the best broker for me.

Have read a lot of good reviews about Zerodha and it looks great compared to other brokers when it comes to brokerage charged, for all kinds of trading.

Haven't read much about their charting support.

Does Zerodha provide charting support and how good is it? Or do we have to use NSE TAME? TAME is just about ok.

I am going to rely on Technical Analysis for my trading decisions and hence its very imp for me to have a platform which gives good charting support.

Expecting a reply from Zerodha or its users.

Thanx.
They are going to provide nest which had good charting facility.so go ahead with zerodha

As a trading platform, excellent.
Charting, I would suggest amibroker, with feed from nest or now, as you can program your own strategies. In nest, you cant do that.

The data feed should cost between 300 to 600 per month, from various providers, and amibroker, well, ask your friends :)

Thnx for your reply.

Well, don't want to invest right away in expensive charting softwares like Metastock or Amibroker. Expecting my trading platform to provide a good charting tool.

Have heard that Indiabulls PIB has good charting, but with its awesomely cheap brokerage, Zerodha is too irresistable. :D

Hoping NEST to be as good as you suggest. Any link for a demo of charting in NEST?

Another qtn, has Zerodha started trading in BSE, they were expected to in Feb.

I used pib, as well as reliance nest trader. For charting nest is better, thats what I felt.
zerodha currently providing nse, bse, currency. In a few days mcx through nest. If your trading volume good, consider RKSV.They are providing nse, bse, nfo, unlimited trading facility for fixed charge of 1947 per month.RKSV also providing NOW.I joined rksv and I am satisfied with their service. For other details visit RKSV THREAD on traderji.

I have studied the RKSV plan... to start with, my volumes wont be high... hence, zerodha will be cheaper for me than RKSV... but can sure think of it when my volumes increase.

Thnx,
Akash.

Hi timepass...

What I told was, that for all trades which are placed under MIS(intraday equities) we don't charge anything extra if we do the auto square offs...

The charge is applicable for fno trades that are squared off at our end...
@ Zerodha: Why it is charged only for FNO? not for equity?

A SATISFIED CLIENT IS A GOOD SALES MAN OF HIS BROKERAGE HOUSE. In this way zerodha raised to A top nse member(value wise)within two years with limited resourses and It is also a way ahead for RKSV.These two cos are helping investors and traders, saving from too much greedy top brokerage houses.we must guide innocent traders to these two good cos.

hi zerodha,

9. To win the contest, you simply have to be net profitable after paying all your taxes and costs.you need to login to the backoffice and click on request for crediting the brokerage paid, back to your trading account. The credit will happen within 24 hours. ?

i have a small doubt regarding the refund of brokerage
1.suppose opening balance in the account is around 10,000rs and at the end the contest day the closing balance is 9900rs and he has paid a brokerage of 200rs (excluding all other charges stt turnover charges etc) will the brokerage amount will be refunded as he as made a profit of 100rs ?

hi zerodha,
i have a small doubt , opening balance on 15th feb is considered as bench mark for the scheme or closing balance on the 15th feb?
Regards,
praveen
