Re: Charting by Zerodha...

A SATISFIED CLIENT IS A GOOD SALES MAN OF HIS BROKERAGE HOUSE. In this way zerodha raised to A top nse member(value wise)within two years with limited resourses and It is also a way ahead for RKSV.These two cos are helping investors and traders, saving from too much greedy top brokerage houses.we must guide innocent traders to these two good cos.
I agree. Thnx ksp191, for your valuable inputs. If someone thinks of it as salesmanship, it's not ur fault.

Zerodha, your brokerage calculator is awesome. Suggestion : Can you also put up the margin required for the trade in the calculator somewhere ?? I know it is scripwise and margins are different, so maybe you can do it in equities.

For F&O, maybe you can have a daily updated file which tells you how much money will be needed to trade 1 lot of a particular scrip. I mean, not in terms of percentages, but in terms of money. The format could have the following columns :

Scrip name, expiry date, Lot size, CMP (yesterday's LTP), approximate margins required for intraday, approximate margins required for delivery.

This will help a customer plan his trades in advance. I mean, suppose I have 10k in my account, I can look up this file and decide on the scrips whose futures I can trade with the money that I have.

Hi Zerodha,

I have a query regarding brokerage.

Suppose I buy 100 shares of Comp A at 10 ,and exit 50 shares at 11 and another 50 at 12.What will be brokerage?

Also, Suppose I decide to Buy 50 shares at 10, another 50 shares at 11 and exit all 100 shares at 12. What will be the brokerage?

Thanks in advance.

Rajesh.
Three trades in the first case - 1 Buy and 2 Sells
Three trades in the second case - 2 Buys and 1 Sell

For each Buy or Sell, the brokerage is (0.01%*Transaction Value) or Rs.20
whichever is less.

Well, those are the 3 most traded commodity futures contract by daily volume in rupee terms. The near month contracts of these 3 are the most liquid and actively traded by all.

Thanks. What is the difference GOLD and Goldpital, etc

How can we take advantage of Low Brokerage in Trading, I think we have to choose Low voltile, high volume Commodity for Trade so we can book profit and avoid big lose

Hi Zerodha/ seniors

If i buy 2 Nifty Fut lots, then i will be charged buy side brok of 20 (+taxes+levies).

Now, if i sell one lot at 15 point and second at 30 point in 2 separate orders, sell side brok will be 20+20 .......ok

Now suppose : 2 scenarios of same order :
1. After buying 2lots, if i place a single order to sell one lot @15 and another and 30, and both order get executed at respective prices, then brok will be 20 or 40 ?

2. Now, i bought 2NF and placed a single order to sell 1lot@15 and second@30. First sell executed and for second lot , down the line seeing charts, i decided to sell second lot @20.Hence i modified order and sold second lot. Now on sell side, i will be charged 20 or (20+20) ?

thanks
Meena
