have a problem with zerodhas now trading platform, no help from customer support team, i have installed the platform more than 10 times and even formatted my system more than 10 times and still the same problem says ("now initialization failed interactive engine"os error" ) not able to understand how to trade from tuesday onwards
tried to contact the customer support team i dont know why they are so lazy or having poor knowledge or dont know why they are not able to help me.
I thought customer support is good " but the worst thing is nobody cares for your techincal problems " araised by the now platform they say its not their problem and gave me a number to call now software people i guess nobody respondst there as well
hoping that i will atleast get that nest platform working for equities asap

I think that NOW must be down for maintainance or something, because I have faced that issue before while trying to log in on a weekend.
Right now, I am trying to log in and i get the message - "User cannot login. Reason : Disconnected from NOW system"
Maybe it's due to the same issue and everything will be back to normal before the start of Tuesday's trading session.
Anybody else facing the same issue currently?

I always found Zerodha support the best.

Anyway, I just wanted to say Thank you to Zerodha for 60 day offer.
I found many of us are super excited about it. I am not.
. It's not because of payback but, I am not worried to about making Rs. 20.
I just checked my last 60 days records, I think I am already eligible for it, if Zerodha offers payback for last 60 days. :clap:.
There is no point in running behind Rs. 40 or 1 point of nifty futures. I will prefer to see if best quality trading platform is available at Rs. 40-50 (buy+sale) than payback schemes. Zerodha already done good job by offering flat/discount brokerage scheme.
I like another idea posted by someone here, having brokerage calculator with margin requirements in built. I think Zerodha should have online brokerage cal with live prices and margin requirements.

1. You have to wait at least 1 month for equities on nest.
2. For emergency u can trade from the now website itself when software fails.

3. error type "now initialization failed interactive engine"os error" usually indicate problems with network. Check your Internet connections first (if there is any problem). If your internet connection is ok, check firewall settings / Anivirus( with firewall ) settings.
Probably, some application blocks Now Software.
1st make all runtimes (Like Java, Microsoft .NET Framework , Adobe Flash Player up to date). Test it. If failed again(or already up to date) use below.
For experiment 1st close all web site (for security), then deactivate your firewall/antivirus/spamware etc for 5 minutes, try to logged in with Now. You have to find which application blocks now.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
If Now shows error "User can not login. Reason: Disconnected from NOW system" it is due to os related problem. you have to install the "Patch" file from the downloads section of zerodha Website..after installing the patch run "NOW" as administrator, this should fix the issue..
But, "now initialization failed interactive engine"os error" is due to Network problem don't install the patch 1st. If problem is due to network, u don't need the patch.

The servers would be delinked, I think, during weekends for maintenance.
I faced this problem once or twice and I am sure that it was only during
week-ends.

This has nothing to do with the patch, since NOW was working fine for me until the end of Friday's closing session and i also received an email from Zerodha stating that for those users who do not have any stability issues with NOW need not install the patch, but now, even after i did i am facing the same issue.
