As everyone else has mentioned, if you buy any equity share in the product type as MIS, it will be squared off at 3.10pm...

If you have the funds to buy stock in full and you want to trade till 3.30pm, choose CNC...

Ok for buys I can choose CNC, what about sells, say I have the amount to sell and want to hold till 3.20pm then it cant be sold by CNC as I may not have stocks in my Demat..then what is the solution?

How to open multiple NOW windows if one has multiple accounts (in ones family members name) and not by opening one window and log in 1 -> trade -> log out 1 and then log in 2 -> trade -> log out 2 and so on method.

What you say!!!
There is no trailing stop loss feature in NOW.
Then how you people manage your stop loss. What you people do to manage it (increasing/decreasing stop loss in a trade)

Presently not possible on NOW!!

Trailing stop loss and bracket orders, both are considered as algo's by NSE. We will still provide you a solution where you will be able to use it..

So if you sell a stock without holding it in your demat, you have to use MIS and all these positions can be taken only till 3.10pm.

The only way to do this is by trading futures...

Create a C: , D: on your hard disk...

Install NOW and this would by default be installed on C drive, copy the same file onto D: and you can run 2 instances of NOW.. As long as your computer and internet is fast, you can have as many partitions and run as many instances...

@ Chandra, As I had mentioned earlier, to run Bracket or Trailing stop loss, you need to place them from a dealer terminal and not a client terminal... We are trying to figure out ways in which we can give you access to a dealer terminal...Will keep you informed once we have a fix.. This would anyways happen only after we go live on Zerodha Trader..

You mean to say

C:\Program Files\NOW This is for first account.
Copy this NOW folder for second account as D:\NOW

To load NOW (D drive) for a second account, which icon/file (in D:\NOW) we have click, is it NowLauncher or anyother.

yes both are possible . not only NOW and Zerodha Trader could be run in same pc, but also in same partition i.e. both can be run from c: drive itself. try it. look at the image
