Hi,
I've a large account size(over Rs 4-5 crore).I trade both short and medium term in equities.I also write nifty options actively each series.

My queries:

Will my fund be safe with zerodha?What is redressal mechanism in case of default?
Can joint (me with spouse)trading and demat account be opened? Is nomination facility available?

Any reply would be appreciated.

how to get all the intraday charts of the scrips in Zerodhas Traders? all of the intraday charts are not coming with the message displaying Data not available. is there any settings to be done?


the message for historical charts says contact administrator. what have to be done in this case/

also need the info - does NOW/Zerodha Traders run under Ubuntu?

Zerodha Trader and NOW are two different softwares and so can be installed in same drive program files. A difficulty/problem arises when you try to install same software again in the same drive.

I think (I am not sure as I have never tried it) one can install same software twice by just changing the name (changing the path) of software during installation like xxxx and xxxx1 second time.

A comment from a tech trader will be appreciated.

Same is the case with me ravi , as they say never put all your eggs in one basket .so my plans are to put 25 % of my funds

But as of now they dont provide margin against stocks , but sachin has told they are soon going to provide it

One they start margin against stocks you can start with them with 25 % to 40 % of you capital

Till then there is no benfitt trading with them as the brokerage you will save will be much less then the intrest gained on extra money you will be putting as seprate margin against Futures and options

To me Funds with zerodha look quite safe

In Now software, I am unable to link the data to Excel. I am getting the message : Scrip RTD attibute is not licensed.

Till yesterday I was able to link the Now data to my excel file. Please advise the reason.

Your funds are as safe with us as any other popular brokers... I'd go on to say that we are a little more safer because we don't get into any margin funding activities, which is usually what causes trouble for most of the brokers...

Joint account demat can be opened, but no concept of joint for trading... yes nomination facility available...

Equity still not enabled on Zerodha Trader..

Zerodha Trader works on all kind of operating systems...

Don't install again.. Just copy paste the NOW launcher onto the new drive.. If you are facing issues send an email to [email protected], we will call you back..
